Since the driving torque of the bicycle is zero or close to zero, when the speed is slow and there is a lot of resistance, such as when riding a bicycle, there is a risk that the bicycle will slow down and fall while the driving torque is interrupted.

At the same time, when the crank becomes vertical and the drive torque stops, the released energy of the spring is added to continuously drive the bicycle, so there is no temporary speed reduction even when climbing, and the bicycle has a high climbing performance. can be provided.

The front ends of the spring bodies 2, 2' are connected to each other by a support piece provided on the inner plate of the spring body 4'. Reference numerals 6 and 6' denote supporting pieces fixedly or removably screwed to both sides of the rear portion of the vehicle body 1, to which the rear ends of the spring bodies 2 and 2' are pivoted, respectively. Preparatory holes 7 are pre-drilled in the supports 6, 6' so that the pivot position can be changed at any time depending on the length or shortness of the spring. 8 is a crankshaft.

する結果である。(Function) When placing each foot on the pedals 4 and 4' as usual and stepping on them, the spring body 2 on the side of the pedal 4 which is about to be depressed is attached to the crank 3 as shown in Fig. 2a. As the spring body 2' rotates, it is gradually stretched, and the spring body 2' on the opposite side contracts. Since the spring body 2 on the side to be stretched moves in a straight line to near the crankshaft 8 according to the inclination angle of the crank 3, the accumulated energy of the spring body 2, which is gradually strengthened, also becomes relatively easy on the leg force due to the principle of leverage. Moreover, it can be stored instantly. Thus, the maximum energy accumulated in the first half of crank 3 is the second
It is released all at once from the position of the crank 3 shown in Figure b, and pulls the crank 3 back from the bottom dead center to the center of the second half of rotation. On the other hand, the counter crank 3' gradually stretches the panel body 2', which has zero pressure, and moves it to the second position.
Rotate to the same position as in figure a. During this period, the driving torque of the cranks 3, 3' from the bottom dead center to the top dead center is zero or close to zero in a normal car, as shown in FIG. As shown in the figure, the force of spring c is applied between the interruptions in the driving torque from left foot a and right foot b, and the combined driving torque becomes continuous. Therefore, if there is less temporary drop in speed and the rider does not fall down when pitching, his pitching performance will improve. The range of rotation of the cranks 3, 3' due to this spring action extends to about 80% of the entire circumference of the cranks. As mentioned above, the principle of a spring that has an advantageous effect on crank rotation is that the energy released by the spring is an explosive force that releases the maximum amount of accumulated energy at once, whereas the energy accumulated in the spring is zero. Its power gradually increases from then until it reaches its maximum power. Therefore, the energy emitted by the spring is momentarily much greater than the equivalent energy of the counter spring, a result of these different spring characteristics acting simultaneously on crank rotation.

位置にありしかも乗降に際して便利である。 Incidentally, in the present invention, as is clear from the positions of the cranks 3 and 3' in FIG. Support piece 6 from 4',
This results in that the lengths of the spring bodies 2, 2' connected to the pedals 6' are equal and that they are at the same distance, so that the force of each spring body 2, 2' acts equally on the pedals 4, 4' and balances each other. The position of the pedals 4, 4', which are always stationary, is an advantageous position for stepping down L, and is convenient for getting on and off the vehicle.
