む画像書込み手段とを備え、前記液晶セルに書き
込まれた画像をスクリーン上に拡大投影する投写
形表示装置であつて、前記画像書き込み手段は、
デイジタル化ビデオ信号を１Ｈ（Ｈ：水平走査期
間）相当分だけ順次記憶する記憶手段と、一定ピ
ツチで配列されかつ各々独立に透過度が可変な複
数の光シヤツタからなる光シヤツタアレイと、こ
の光シヤツタアレイを照射する光源と、前記記憶
手段に記憶された１Ｈ相当分のビデオ情報に基づ
いて前記光シヤツタアレイの対応する光シヤツタ
の透過度を変化せしめるシヤツタ駆動手段と、前
記光シヤツタアレイによつて得られる像を１Ｈ毎
に前記光シヤツタアレイのアレイ方向に垂直な方
向に相対的に移動せしめて前記液晶セルに投影す
る投影手段とからなることを特徴とする投写形表
示装置。 (2) 前記投影手段は前記アレイ方向に垂直な方
向において回動可能なカルバノミラーを含むこと
