Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 発明の背景 (技術分野) この発明は、輸液輸血セツト、連結管等を用い
る際に併用される通気針およびその製造方法に関
する。
(従来技術および問題点) 従来、輸液輸血セツト、連結管等において、た
とえば薬液ビンから薬液を排出させるため、薬液
ビンの止詮部に通気針を貫通させ、これを介し
て、外気を薬液ビン中に導入することがおこなわ
れている。この場合、外気からのゴミ、雑菌の侵
入を防止する必要があり、そのため通気針には通
常フイルタが組込まれている。たとえば脱脂綿等
の細い繊維を丸めて上記通気針の針基(ハブ)部
分に圧入したり、あるいはポリエチレン等の焼結
体を上記ハブ部分に埋め込んだいわゆるデプスタ
イプのもの、あるいはメンブラン等からなる膜様
フイルタをキヤツプあるいはホルダ等で上記ハブ
部分に固定させたスクリーンタイプのもの(たと
えば実公昭58−92946号)が知られている。
しかし、前記のデプスタイプのものは構造上密
な部分と粗な部分のバラツキが生じ易く耐水圧性
が不十分となるおそれがあり、通気性、除菌効果
も不十分となるおそれがある。
又、後者のスクリーンタイプのものは通気孔を
比較的一定なものとすることができるため、耐水
性および通気性の点で好ましいがキヤツプ等の別
部材にフイルタを取付け、あるいはホルダによ
り、これを穿刺針のハブ部分に組込むようにして
いるため、ゴミ、雑菌を含む外気がフイルタ以外
の部分から侵入するおそれがあるとともに、部品
点数が多くなり、組立てが繁雑となり、均一性が
悪くかつ製造コストが高くなるという問題点があ
る。
発明の目的 この発明は上記事情に鑑みてなされたものであ
つて、スクリーンタイプのフイルタを用いその特
長を保持させながら、除菌効果を一層向上させる
ことができ、品質が均一であつて、かつ製造が簡
単でコストの低減を図ることができる通気針およ
びその製造方法を提供することを目的とする。
発明の概要 この発明は針管状の刺通部と;該刺通部の基端
を一端に保持し、他端に上記刺通部と連通する開
口部を有するハブと;該ハブの連通路に該連通路
を横切るように張設された膜状フイルタとを具備
してなる通気針であつて;該フイルタが補強層と
該補強層より高い融点を有する撥水性フイルタ層
との二層構造をなし、該撥水性フイルタ層が上記
刺通部側に向けて張設され、上記補強層は前記ハ
ブと熱融着可能な素材であつて、前記ハブの前記
連通路の内壁の前記開口部に対向する環状面と前
記補強層が上記撥水性フイルタ層の細孔を介して
全周に亘つて熱融着されていることを特徴とする
通気針を提供するものである。さらに、この発明
は上記通気針において、上記補強層が熱融着性不
織布、たとえばポリプロピン不織布であるもの、
撥水性フイルタ層が上記補強層より融点が実質的
に高い材料からなるもの、たとえばポリテトラフ
ルオロエチレンフイルタからなるものを提供す
る。
さらに、この発明は一端に針管状刺通部を保持
し、該刺通部と連通した開口部を有する熱可塑性
樹脂からなるハブの前記連通路内壁に、該開口部
に向かう環状面を形成する工程と、前記ハブと熱
融着可能な補強層と、該補強層より高融点の撥水
性フイルタ層の二層構造から成るフイルタを、前
記撥水性フイルタを前記刺通部側にして、前記環
状面に載置し、ついで、前記フイルタと前記環状
面が相対する加圧下において、前記補強層ならび
に前記環状面は溶融するが、前記撥水性フイルタ
は溶融しない温度で加熱して、前記環状面の一部
を溶融して、前記撥水性フイルタ層の細孔を透過
させ、前記補強層と前記環状面を全周に亘つて熱
融着させる工程とを具備してなることを特徴とす
る通気針の製造方法を提供するものである。
さらに、この発明は上記方法において熱融着工
程を超音波融着によりおこなう方法;上記段部に
形成された突起条がこの段部に沿つて形成された
断面逆V字形のものである方法を提供するもので
ある。
発明の具体的説明 以下、この発明を図示の実施例を参照して説明
する。
第1図は本発明の一実施例に係わる通気針を示
すものであつて、たとえばポリプロピレンからな
る射出成形されたハブ1の先端にカヌラ2の基端
がたとえばエポキシ係接着剤5等を介して接着固
定されている。なお、本発明はこれに限定され
ず、刺通部と基端部がプラスチツクで一体的に形
成したものでもよい。このハブ1の基端は開口
し、その開口部近傍の内壁に沿つて環状段部3が
形成され、この段部の開口部側環状面3aに膜状
フイルタ4がその外周縁を介し全周に亘つて融着
されている。このフイルタ4はたとえばゴアテツ
クス社製Gore tex ラミネートNo.L10431で厚さ
100μmのポリプロピレン不織布からなる補強層
4aと、厚さ100μm、平均孔径0.1μmのポリテト
ラフルオロエチレンからなる撥水性フイルタ層4
bとの二層構造をなしている。この撥水性フイル
タ層4bが上記カヌラ側に向けられ、補強層4a
は後述の如く撥水性フイルタ層4bの細孔4c
(第5図参照)を透過した環状段部溶融部と一体
化して固着されている。
このフイルタ4をハブ内壁に融着させる一具体
列について詳述すると、まず第2図に示す如く、
ハブ1の開口部近傍に開口部に向く環状面3aを
有する上記段部3を形成するとともに、この段部
3に沿つて環状リブ(環状突条)6を突設させ
る。この環状突条6の大きさは、例えば、その断
面が低辺0.3mm、高さ0.3mmの三角形のものであ
る。
次に、第3図に示す如く、フイルタ用シート7
をハブ1の開口部に対向させて、あるいはその近
傍に配置させ、ついで打抜きポンチ8により所定
形状例えば直径4.6mmのフイルタ4を打抜いたの
ち、これを上記ハブ開口部に導入するとともに、
この打抜きポンチ8内に突出自在に内蔵された突
出しピン9を突出させてフイルタ4を上記段部3
の環状突条6上に載置させる。
また、別の方法として第6図に示す如く、ポリ
プロピレン不織布4aとポリテトラフルオロエチ
レンフイルム4bとからなるフイルタ用シート7
を打抜きポンチ12によつて所定形状のフイルタ
4を打抜き、これを負圧に維持した吸着パイプ1
3で吸着し、これを上記ハブ1内に移送させた
後、吸着パイプ13内に瞬時加圧空気を吹き込
み、フイルタ4を上記段部3の環状リブ6上に載
置させてもよい。
次に、第4図に示す如く超音波融着装置10の
振動子11(下端が上記突条6の径例えば4.2mm
より若干大きく、ハブ内径、例えば4.8mmより小
さい外径を有するもの)を上記ハブ1の開口部内
に導き、超音波により段部3のリブ6部分を加熱
溶融してフイルタ4周縁部をハブ1の段部3に一
体的に固着させる。
この時の加熱温度は突条6と補強層4aは溶融
するが、撥水性フイルタ4bは溶融しない範囲で
ある。突条6と補強層4aの材質がポリプロピレ
ン(融点164〜170℃)、撥水性フイルタ4bがポ
リテトラフルオロエチレン(融点327℃)の場合
は200〜300℃の範囲が望ましい。
また、この時、超音波振動子11でフイルタ4
を段部3方向に押えつける。もちろん加圧手段
は、振動子11以外の手段でもかまわない。
第5図は、この結果得られたフイルタ4の融着
部の状態を模式的に示している。すなわち、超音
波は方向性が高いため段部3上の突条6が超音波
により直ちに溶融し、加圧状態にあるためこの溶
融物が撥水性フイルタ層4bの細孔4cを透過し
て、同じく溶融状態にある補強層4aと一体的に
混り合い、その結果、補強層4aが段部3の環状
面3aに強固に固着されることになる。この時、
固着断面の巾Wが0.1mm以上になることが望まし
い。この条件を満たすように使用する材質に合つ
た加熱温度、加圧圧力を設定する。
なお、このような超音波融着手段の採用は好ま
しいものがあるが、これによらず他の加熱手段に
よつてフイルタ4をハブ1の上記開口部内壁段部
3に固着させるようにしてもよい。又、撥水性フ
イルタ4bおよび補強層4aの材質については上
記例のものに限らず適宣選択し得るが、ハブと補
強層の材質は相互に熱融着し得るもの、撥水性フ
イルタ4bは補強層4aの上記ハブ1への熱融着
時の条件下で溶融しないものがそれぞれ選ぶ必要
がある。例えば、補強層−撥水性フイルタの組み
合せは、ポリプロピレン−テフロン、ポリエチレ
ン−テフロン、ポリカーボネート−テフロン、ポ
リ塩化ビニル−テフロン、ポリプロピレン−ナイ
ロン、ポリプロピレン−ポリフツ化ビニリデン等
がある。
発明の作用効果 以上詳述した如く、本発明によれば撥水性フイ
ルタと補強層の二層構造のフイルタを撥水性フイ
ルタをカヌラ側にして通気針のハブ開口部に挿入
し、補強層とハブとの材質を相互に熱融着可能な
組合せとし、これらを撥水性フイルタの網目を介
して直接融着固定するようにしたから、フイルタ
の耐水圧性の向上とともに、外気からのゴミ、雑
菌の侵入防止効果の一層の向上を図ることがで
き、しかも、フイルタを単にハブ開口部の段部に
載置し、その周縁を上からそのまま加圧加熱する
ようにしたから、従来のスクリーンタイプの通気
針と比較して部品点数を著るしく少なくすること
ができ、製造、組立工程の簡略化ならびに製品の
均一化を図ることができるなど多くの利点を有す
る。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 1 針管状の刺通部と;該刺通部の基端を一端に
    保持し、他端に上記刺通部と連通する開口部を有
    するハブと;該ハブの連通路に該連通路を横切る
    ように張設された膜状フイルタとを具備してなる
    通気針であつて:該フイルタが補強層と該補強層
    より高い融点を有する撥水性フイルタ層との二層
    構造をなし、該撥水性フイルタ層が上記刺通部側
    に向けて張設され、上記補強層は前記ハブと熱融
    着可能な素材であつて、前記ハブの前記連通路の
    内壁の前記開口部に対向する環状面と前記補強層
    が上記撥水性フイルタ層の細孔を介して全周に亘
    つて熱融着されていることを特徴とする通気針。 2 一端に針管状刺通部を保持し、該刺通部と連
    通した開口部を有する熱可塑性樹脂からなるハブ
    の前記連通路内壁に、該開口部に向かう環状面を
    形成する工程と、前記ハブと熱融着可能な補強層
    と、該補強層より高融点の撥水性フイルタ層の二
    層構造から成るフイルタを、前記撥水性フイルタ
    を前記刺通部側にして、前記環状面に装置し、つ
    いで、前記フイルタと前記環状面が相対する加圧
    下において、前記補強層ならびに前記環状面は溶
    融するが、前記撥水性フイルタは溶融しない温度
    で加熱して、前記環状面の一部を溶融して、前記
    撥水性フイルタ層の細孔を透過させ、前記補強層
    と前記環状面を全周に亘つて熱融着させる工程と
    を具備してなることを特徴とする通気針の製造方
    法。
