In this case, the conventional method has been to connect the lead wires one by one to the required terminal portions of the printed circuit board by soldering. However, since the width of the terminal portion is small and the arrangement pitch is extremely small, for example, about 2.54 mm, the soldering operation is not only very troublesome, but also tends to be incomplete, and there is a great possibility that the reliability of operation will be impaired. In order to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks, a method has been proposed that applies a conventionally well-known connector technology for connecting electronic devices using flat cables. In this method, as shown in the perspective view and front view showing the connection state shown in FIGS. Press-fit type insulation removal connection type connection terminal 2 (hereinafter abbreviated as connection terminal), that is, a V-shaped guide portion 2a at the tip
The cables 3 are inserted one by one into the above-mentioned groove guide portion 2a of the pressure connection terminal 2, which has a press-fit groove 2b narrower in width than the core wire diameter of the cable to be connected at the center of its lower part. , connect this to the through hole 4 of the connection terminal 2
This is a method of connecting as shown in FIG. 1b by pressing with a cable pressing plate 4 having a diameter of 1.a. That is, in this method, when the cable 3 is press-fitted, the cable 3 enters the press-fitting groove 2b whose width is narrower than the diameter of the core wire, so that a cut is made in the sheathing 3a by the thickness of the connection terminal 2, and the core wire 3b exposed at this time is The connection is made by being squeezed by the repulsive force of the left and right metal elastic portions of the press-fit groove 2b.

型電子装置にとつて不利となる欠点がある。 However, in this case, the cable to be connected has a single core, and is bent and elastic, so it is difficult to stably position multiple wires in each V-shaped guide portion 2a of each connection terminal 2. . For this reason, when press-fitting the cable 3 using the cable pressing plate 4, it is difficult to press the cable 3 without letting it escape outside the guide section 2a, which often causes connection leaks, and even if the cable can be connected, the operation is troublesome. be. In addition, as a method to prevent the connection from being disconnected during use,
In the flat cable connector, as shown in Fig. 1a, locking legs 5 are provided on both the left and right sides of the cable pressing plate 4, and locking keys 5a provided at the ends of the locking legs 5 are provided on the connector side. A method of locking using a locking part is used. Therefore, when this is applied to a printed circuit board, it is necessary to provide a locking key portion 1a on the printed circuit board 1 side as shown in FIG. 1a and to lock it as shown in FIG. 1b. This not only complicates the structure of the printed circuit board and the pressing plate, making it troublesome to manufacture, but also increases the width of the cable pressing plate 4 and the printed circuit board 1 by the installation width of the locking legs 5. The disadvantage is that it takes up a large amount of space, which is disadvantageous for small electronic devices.

内切欠きである。 Figures 2 and 3 a, b, and c are views of one embodiment of the present invention, in which Figure 2 is a perspective view showing the connection terminal and the pressing plate, and Figure 3 a, b, and c are A of the pressing plate. -A' section arrow sectional view, B direction arrow plan view, and C direction arrow plan view. In FIG. 2, 1 is a printed circuit board, 2 is a connecting terminal (for example, made of phosphor bronze), 2a is a V-shaped guide portion at its tip, 2b is a press-fitting groove, 2c is a connecting portion, 2d is an insertion position regulating step, 6 is the first of the merits.
As a special feature, the holding protrusion of the pressing plate provided on the connecting terminal 2 has a slope 2 on the upper side. This holding protrusion 6 is provided on the lower side of the press-fit groove 2b of the connection terminal 2. This is because more reliable holding force to the press plate 8 can be obtained than when the groove is provided on the side of the press-fit groove 2b. 7 is a connecting plate for connecting terminals, which connects the connecting terminals 2 so as to correspond to the fixed pitches on the printed circuit board 1, inserts them all at once into the terminal insertion holes of the board, and then solders them using, for example, a molten soldering method. For example, by bending the connecting plate 7 back and forth, the connecting terminals can be separated using a notch (not shown) provided in the connecting part 7a, and each connecting terminal 2 can be separated.
are made to be independent from each other. 8 is the proposed cable pressing plate (for example, made of polyamide resin);
Reference numeral 9 denotes a connection terminal insertion hole, which is provided so as to penetrate between the upper and lower surfaces of the cable pressing plate 8, as shown in FIG. , and its width is smaller than the width between the pressing plate holding protrusions 6 provided on the connecting terminal 2, so that when the cable pressing plate 8 is press-fitted into the connecting terminal 2, it is held by the connecting terminal 2 by the protrusions 6. be done. 10 is a cable fixing groove, as shown in Figure 3 a and c.
As shown in the figure, the groove is provided so as to penetrate through the front and rear surfaces of the cable pressing plate 8 so that the central axis in the depth direction coincides with the central axis of the connecting terminal insertion hole 9, and the width of the groove is approximately the same as that of the cable. selected. 10a
is a cable fixing protrusion which is the second feature of the present invention, and has, for example, a triangular cross section as shown in FIG. Two or more pairs are provided facing each other. When the cable is inserted as shown by the dotted line in the figure, the protrusion 10a strongly presses the sheath 3a from a direction perpendicular to the cable 3, ensuring that the cable 3 does not move at a predetermined distance from the cable pressing plate 8. At the same time, the cable 3 is held securely so that the cable 3 does not come out of the cable fixing groove 10 due to a tensile load. 11 is a V-shaped cable guide notch.

A lead wire of an external circuit element, that is, a cable 3 is press-fitted into the cable fixing groove 10 and held by the cable pressing plate 8. Thereafter, the connecting terminal 2 is inserted into the connecting terminal insertion hole 9, and the cable pressing plate 8 is pressed against the printed circuit board 1 side. Then cable 3
is inserted into the press-fit groove 2b of the connection terminal, and a cut is made in the sheath 3a as shown in FIG. The connection is made by squeezing. On the other hand, the cable pressing plate 8 is held by pressing plate holding protrusions 6 provided on both left and right sides of the connection terminal 2. Therefore, the cable 3 is inserted into the press-fit groove 2b of the connection terminal 2.
It is prevented from slipping out upward from inside, and disconnection is reliably prevented. Further, the cable 3 is well fixed to the cable pressing plate 8 at a predetermined distance by the cable fixing protrusion 10a that strongly presses the coating 3a provided in the cable fixing groove 10, and the cable 3 is firmly fixed to the cable pressing plate 8 in the press-fitting groove 2b of the connection terminal 2. The connecting terminal 2 is easily inserted into the press-fitting groove 2b, and at the same time, the cable is held well against the tensile load so that the cable is pulled, thereby surely preventing the connecting terminal 2 from coming out of the press-fitting groove 2b. In addition to the integration of the cable pressing plate with the connection terminal, disconnection is reliably prevented.

Therefore, unlike the conventional method in which each cable is placed on the V-shaped guide part of the connection terminal and connected by pressing it with a pressing plate, the cable does not escape and the connection cannot be made, and the connection can be made easily and quickly. It can be performed. Further, the pressing plate is held by the pressing plate holding protrusion provided on the connection terminal, so there is no need to provide a locking leg as in the conventional case, and there is no need to provide a locking key portion on the board side. Therefore, the width of the pressing plate becomes shorter and the occupied area is reduced accordingly.
This is advantageous in terms of the configuration of a small electronic device, and the structure of the pressing plate is also simplified. In addition, the cable fixing protrusion provided in the cable fixing groove of the cable pressing plate facilitates the press-fitting of the cable into the press-fitting groove of the connection terminal, and at the same time, the cable can be easily resisted against the tensile load by the cable fixing groove of the cable pressing plate. Since the cable is fixed, together with the integration of the cable pressing plate and the connection terminal, disconnection of the cable and the connection terminal can be effectively prevented. Note that the cable fixing protrusion 10a may have an appropriate shape other than a triangular cross section, and the connection terminal insertion hole 9 may be a blind hole.
