The cleaning chamber is provided with a cleaning tank having an overflow pipe, a cleaning nozzle for injecting hot water in the cleaning tank by a cleaning pump, and a rinsing nozzle for injecting warm water from a rinsing tank outside the cleaning chamber by a rinsing pump. In a dishwasher in which high-temperature water is stored in the rinse tank or the stored water is heated to a high temperature, the rinse pump is activated prior to the cleaning process, and the water from the rinse tank to the cleaning tank is overflowing. A dishwasher comprising: a rinse pump control section for supplying water to the washing tank; and a lower hot water supply port connected to the rinse tank via a rinse pump and a water supply valve, provided below the washing tank.
