(発明の構成)
本発明は帯板状の金属板片を該金属板片より短
い筒状の型中に該金属板片の両端方部を型外に張
出させてセツトしたうえ型内に弾性プラスチツク
ス材料を供給して該金属板片を芯材とした取手素
材をインサート成形し、成形後は型の一端より引
き抜き脱型したうえこの取手素材を所要の取手形
状に屈曲させて取手主体を形成するとともに前記
金属板片のうち成形された弾性プラスチツクスで
厚く覆われた本体部分の両端より張出された部分
の先端に取付座部を屈曲形成することを特徴とす
るものであつて、以下、本発明を図示の工程説明

本発明では先ず第1図に示すように肉厚2〜4

3を多数製作しておく。次に、この金属板片3を

〜50mm、高さ12〜14mm程度の扁平な筒状の型4中
に該金属板片3の両端方部を型4外に張出させて
セツトしたうえ型4内に低発泡のポリウレタン樹
脂や塩化ビニール樹脂等の弾性プラスチツクス材
料を供給し、該金属板片3を挿通できる長孔5,
6を備えた蓋7,8をもつて該型4の両端を閉塞
型締めして金属板片3を芯材とした第3図に示す
ような取手素材9をインサート成形し、一方の蓋
7とともに金属板片3の一端を掴持してこれを型
4の軸線方向に強く引いて脱型する。なお、型4
は金属型としてその内面にシボ模様等の所要の模
様を電鋳法等により形成した継目のないものとし
ておき、取手素材9の表面に凹凸のある所要の模
様10を形成する。なお、型4として割型でない
筒状のものを使用しているにも拘らず表面に凹凸
のある模様10が形成された取手素材9を脱型で
きるのは弾性プラスチツクスの弾性によるためで
ある。このようにして脱型された取手素材9は筒
状に成形された弾性プラスチツクスよりなる本体
部分11の両端に金属板片3の両端方部が張出さ
れたものとなるので、これと屈曲工程に移してこ
の取手素材9をベンダーやプレス装置等を使用し
て所要の取手形状に屈曲させ、前記本体部分11
をもつて第4図に示すような取手主体12を形成
するとともに前記金属板片3のうち該本体部分1
1の両端より張出された部分を先端に孔2,2付
の取付座部13,13を備えた脚部14,14に
屈曲形成する。なお、取手主体12のうち脚部1
4,14に続く部分の外面には孔2,2へのボル
ト挿込操作を容易にするための凹部15,15を
形成しておくことが好ましく、このために型4の
内面に該凹部15,15に対応する突部を設けて
おくものとする。また、金属板片3の表面は弾性
プラスチツクスが屈曲工程で剥離されないように
薬品処理或いは条溝等の機械的処理を施しておく
ことが好ましく、また、弾性プラスチツクスは金
属板片3を適確に覆つて充分な緩衝性をもつた取
手主体12となるよう該金属板片3の肉厚より厚

目のないものとなつて極めて体裁がよいうえに該
弾性プラスチツクスが優れたクツシヨン効果を発
揮するので、車内に取付けた場合において衝突事
故等があつても身体が取手により傷付けられるこ
とがなく、さらに、車体への取手けは取手主体1
2内にインサートされた金属板片3の先端の取付
座部13,13によるものであるから、取手部分
の強度は充分確保されて長期耐用できるものとな
る。しかも、本発明方法によつて得られたプラス
チツクス製取手は割型により射出成形機でインサ
ート成形する場合とは異なり、金属板片3を芯材
としてその両端方部以外を弾性プラスチツクスに
より被覆した取手素材を製作し、これを屈曲加工
して製品とするもであるから取手の形状や大きさ
に応じた構造が複雑な割型を多数用意する必要が
なく、型代が節約できて安価に提供できる利点が
