この考案は自動車運搬船のガスタイトドアに関

自動車運搬船は、荷役中を除いて火災事故に備
えてガス密区画を設け、延焼の防止あるいは消火
の効率の向上が計られている。一方自動車運搬船
に自動車を荷役する際には、ガス密区画を自動車
が自由に走行できるようにしなければならない。
このため各ガス密区画間にはガスタイトドアを設

られている。このように大きな側壁6がある為
に、A甲板1とB甲板2に設けたランプウエイ4
を利用する自動車にとつて、ガスタイトドアの開
口部からの視界が減少し、極めて危険な運転状態
