(1) 表面にトナー像を形成して移動する感光体
と、トナー像が転写された転写材を感光体から分

電器上にあつて転写材の搬送をガイドする転写材
進入防止ガイド部材と、分離した転写材を搬送す
るための転写材搬送装置とを含む画像形成装置に
おいて、分離コロナ帯電器にオゾン排出用の開口
を設け、これに隣接する転写材搬送装置にオゾン
吸引用の開口を設け、分離コロナ帯電器上の転写
材進入防止ガイド部材の基部でオゾン除去用の吸
引通路の一面を規定するようにしたことを特徴と
する画像形成装置。
(2) 上記転写材搬送装置は転写材を吸引して搬
送するための吸引装置を備え、この吸引装置によ
つて上記分離帯電器で発生したオゾンを上記吸引
通路を介して吸引除去することを特徴とする請求

、転写材進入防止ガイド部材の基部と、転写材搬
送装置の一部と、筐体の一部とを選択的に組み合
わせてオゾン除去用の吸引通路を形成し、転写紙
搬送装置の吸引装置によつて分離帯電器で発生し
たオゾンを吸引通路を介して吸引除去することを
