Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a more efficient air cleaning with a less amount of air to be attained by a method wherein a diffuser is arranged at a location enclosing an intake in a ceiling surface, a sensor for sensing a position of occurrence of contaminant such as a smoke of cigarettes is arranged, an amount of air at each of the diffusers and an air direction at each of the diffusers are adjusted in response to an output signal from the sensor. CONSTITUTION:A diffusers 1 and an intake 2 are connected by a duct 3 at a garret. An air blowing fan 8 and a filter 4 for collecting contaminants of fine particles such as tobacco smoke or the like are arranged within the duct 3. A sensor 5 such as an infra-red rays sensor for sensing a position 10 where contaminant is produced is arranged at ceiling surface 7, both fan 8 and a diffuser 1 are controlled by an output signal for sensing the contaminant and then a controller device 6 for adjusting an amount of air and an air direction of the diffuser 1 is provided.

Further, the above-mentioned air outlet (■) and suction opening (2) are connected by a duct (2) at the back of the ceiling. Inside the duct ■,
It has a fan and a filter [4] that collects pollutants such as cigarette smoke, and an air outlet that faces a sensor such as infrared rays that detects the location [phase] of pollutants such as cigarette smoke. It has a configuration including a control system [6] such as an inverter that controls the amount of air from the inverter. In this way, by controlling the amount of air from each of the opposing air outlets 2, the upward airflow [phase] lifts the pollutants to the location where the pollutants are generated, as shown by the arrow in Figure 3. After removing the purified air with the filter ■ inside the duct ■, the purified air is returned to the room through the outlet ■.

A control system that adjusts the wind direction is a control system that creates an updraft at the position [phase] where pollutants are generated, and the air outlet so that the contaminated air rides the updraft and is carried to the inlet without dispersing. The direction of the pollutant generation position [

When the sensor ■ detects the location [phase] of pollutant generation, the control system ■ will operate three or more air outlets.
From there, air is blown in front of the generation position [phase] to create an upward airflow [6] that joins above the generation position [phase]. In this way, air is blown spot-wise to the pollutant generation position (phase), so air is purified efficiently and large-capacity equipment is not required.

Note that as long as there are three or more outlet ports (2) around the inlet (2), the number of outlet ports (2) is arbitrary, and a spot-like upward air current can be created at the pollutant generation position (phase).
