1に取り付けた金具10と当接させ、灯芯を上昇
させた時には、この芯ホルダー1の金具10で消
火弁9を押しあげて消火室8に新鮮な空気を取入
れておき、灯芯2を降下させた消火時には灯芯2
の上端部から気化し続ける石油蒸気を前記消火室
8内に導いて消火室8内の新鮮空気と混合させ、
爆発的に燃焼させることによりその爆風で灯芯2
上端に残る残火を吹き消して短時間で消火させる
ようになつている。一方、 弁装置5は芯外筒7に取付け燃料タンク3内と
連通させた連通部11と、この連通部11の先端
外周縁に設けた座部12、連通部11の先端外周
上方左右に設けたL字状の突出片13、連通部1

させ、毛細管現象により連通部11から座部12
へと至り座部12と弁板15の間に油膜を形成
し、灯芯2下降時の燃料タンク3内の内圧上昇に
ともなう弁装置5の弁板15の開成を妨げてしま
い弁板15は作動しなくなるという問題があつ
