The charged ink particles are deflected by a deflection electric field while passing between the deflection electrodes. For example, uncharged or low-level charged ink particles collide with a gutter and are collected in an ink tank, and ink particles charged to a predetermined level or higher pass outside the gutter and collide with recording paper (recording). Such an ink recording assembly is used, for example, for cyan inter recording,
We have three sets for magenta recording and yellow recording,
Each color is recorded in each recording assembly.

Since the ink is pressurized in the area where the bubble occurs, the ink protrudes from the head and advances to the recording paper.

If the charging characteristics of the charging electrodes fluctuate and the amount of charge on the ink particles becomes unstable, or in the case of multi-nozzle recording where multiple dots lined up side by side are recorded virtually simultaneously, adjacent charging electrodes may be short-circuited by the ink. The desired charge will no longer be achieved.

Inkjet nozzles must be passed through the inner space of the inkjet ink (or inverted U-shape), and adjacent charging electrodes must be insulated, so it is difficult to shorten the arrangement pitch of the charging electrodes, and it is not possible to arrange the ink jet nozzles at a high density. .

), the photoconductor generates carriers (electrons and holes) in response to the light, and among these carriers, the potential polarity (positive) of the substrate (1) surface (2) is opposite to that of the substrate (1) and the surface (2). (minus) carriers (electrons) are transferred to the surface of the substrate (1) (
2), carriers (holes) having the same potential polarity as the potential polarity of the substrate (1) and surface (2) are drawn to the ink ejection path (8bi).
The ink in the ink ejection path is charged. When there is no light irradiation, this charge does not substantially occur, so the light irradiation means (30) emits light corresponding to one image onto the photoconductor (
3, 4), a charge corresponding to the image is formed in the ink in the ink jetting path (8bi).

Pressure fluctuations due to suction and discharge are absorbed. Ink at a constant pressure is supplied to the cyan ink recording head IOC through the electromagnetic switching valve 44. In the head IOC, a laser scanning device 30 emits light. Laser beam assigned to cyan color recording (light emitted when cyan color recording image signal is not recorded,
During recording, the ink is charged to a positive potential (no light is emitted), and when there is no light irradiation (recording), it is substantially uncharged. Further, constant frequency pressure vibration is applied to the ink by constant frequency excitation of the vibrator 35, and ejection control electrodes (55a, 55
b, 56a, 56b) are applied with a potential to restrict the ejection of the charged ink, thereby restricting the ejection of the charged ink. As a result, ink particles corresponding to pixels to be recorded in one main scanning line are simultaneously ejected from the ink ejection ports of the ink ejection head 10C. The ejected ink particles collide with the recording paper 11 (recording).

The light (three rays) emitted by the light source 15 which includes three sets of laser diodes (for cyan recording, magenta recording, and yellow recording) of 0n■ is transmitted to the first cylindrical lens 16.

Reflects the irradiated light. As the polygon mirror 19 rotates, the angle of the mirror surface that reflects the irradiation light with respect to the irradiation light gradually increases.9 In the illustrated example, the mirror surface with respect to the irradiation light is updated every rotation of 360 degrees/6, and the polygon mirror 19 The reflected light is swung repeatedly (line scanning: main scanning) once in a multi-faceted file.
The light reflected by is reflected by the first mirror 17, passes through the second cylindrical lenses 21G, 21M, and 21Y,
A recording control device (not shown), which advances into the light receiving slits 9a of the recording heads IOC, IOM, and IOY, respectively, activates three sets of laser diodes of the light source 15 during line scanning.
It is turned on/off in response to each color image signal (signal indicating recording/non-recording of line content dots) to irradiate or non-irradiate laser light for each color. In order to obtain an optical scanning line synchronization signal that indicates the division of one line scanning (switching of the reflective surface and switching of the second line), a mirror 2 is installed outside the line scanning section.
2, the light reflected by this mirror 22 is detected by a photosensor 23, and this detection signal (exposure scan synchronization signal) is given to the recording control device. The recording apparatus drives and energizes the platen 39 to feed the paper (IIJ scan) at a constant speed. By the above-described main scanning (line scanning) and sub-scanning (paper feeding), the entire surface of the paper is scanned for recording.

When a voltage of a certain polarity is applied, the vibrator 35 bends back to bulge toward the ink flow path 54 and pressurizes the ink.
When the voltage disappears or a voltage of the opposite polarity is applied, the ink flow path 54 is bent outward (reversely warped) and the ink pressure in the ink flow path 54 is lowered. FIG. 5 shows the relationship between the repetition of laser exposure scanning and the ink pressure in the ink jetting path 8ai due to the excitation of the vibrator 35.

Y is scanned by a laser beam for yellow recording and uncharged yellow ink is ejected at a position not irradiated with the laser beam.6 According to the embodiment described above, each ink is ejected at the tip of the head by a semiconductor laser beam. To further accelerate this acceleration, a positive voltage is applied to the electrodes 55a, 55b (Figure 6C) until the vibrator 35 is no longer energized and it applies a negative pressure to the ink (Figure 6D). After waiting, a positive voltage is applied to the conductive layer 2 of the Nesa glass 1 and the electrode 7, and the electrode 57a is removed.
