Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure natural illumination and sound absorption over a whole sound range by installing a sound absorber between respective intersections in a net to form a sound absorbing net and arranging it under a membrane roof. CONSTITUTION:A columnar absorber 6 is formed by a fiber material, foaming resin, sintered aluminum sound absorbing material and so on. The absorber 6 is made into a composite laminating structure of a composite material, a hollow structure, a hard core structure or an acoustically clear covering structure for surface only, as necessary. Respective ropes 5a of the net are passed through respective through holes 7 of the absorber 6, and the absorber 6 is installed between respective net intersections 8, 8 to form a sound absorbing net 4. Finally, the sound absorbing net 4 is arranged over the whole lower side of a membrane roof 1 consisting of an arch 2 and a membrane 3. It is thus possible to make up for sound absorption insufficient in middle and high sound ranges without the sacrifice of natural illumination and ensure uniform sound absorption over a whole sound range.

In general, in architectural spaces such as stadiums, assembly halls, and music halls with membrane roof structures, surfaces other than the ceiling are finished with sound-absorbing materials, and if necessary, suspended sound absorbers or sound-absorbing hanging membranes are hung from the ceiling, or membrane roofs are installed. By pasting a sound-absorbing membrane underneath, the acoustics in the room are adjusted (adjusting reverberation time, reducing echoes, diffusing sound, etc.).

In other words, the method of hanging a suspended sound absorber or sound absorbing hanging membrane on the ceiling is as follows:
Not only are sound absorbing bodies and sound absorbing hanging membranes unsightly, but they also have the drawback of being less effective in preventing flutter echoes that tend to occur between the ceiling and the floor, especially in architectural spaces with membrane roof structures.

Similarly, in the building space of a membrane roof structure, if a sound-absorbing membrane is applied to the entire roof, the entire roof becomes a double membrane, which significantly reduces the daylight rate, which is an advantage of membrane roofs. The downside is that you won't be able to take in enough sunlight.

This invention particularly relates to a sound absorption device for architectural spaces of membrane roof structures, in which a sound absorption net is installed below the ceiling over the entire ceiling surface or a portion thereof, and the sound absorption net is configured in a grid or diamond pattern. The above object is achieved by having a structure in which a plurality of sound absorbers are installed between the intersection points of each rope of the net main body.

With such a configuration, the sound absorbing net 3 is stretched over the entire surface of the membrane roof under the membrane roof l, and the entire membrane serves as a sound absorbing surface and exhibits a sound absorbing function.

That is, the synergistic effect of the good sound absorption properties of the membrane roof in the low frequency range and the good sound absorption properties of the sound absorption net in the middle and high frequency ranges makes it possible to ensure good sound absorption performance over the entire sound range.

Generally speaking, the sound absorption coefficient of membrane roof structures is good in the low frequency range and poor in the mid to high frequency range, so if the sound absorption properties of the sound absorbing body are adjusted to maintain sound absorption to compensate for the insufficient sound absorption coefficient in the mid to high frequency range. , it is possible to maintain overall sound absorption properties in the entire sound range.

In addition, although the embodiments have been described with respect to sound absorption devices for architectural spaces in membrane roof structures, the invention is not limited to this type of structure, and can be applied to air-pressurized membrane roof structures as well as non-membrane structures. Needless to say, it can also be used in architectural spaces in general roof structures.
