In Fig. 1, 1A, 1B, and 1C indicate round rod-shaped thermosetting synthetic resin clay materials, which can be plastically deformed under normal conditions, and when heat-treated at 130° to 150°C, thermosetting and adhesion. It is possible to thermally bond the bonding interface that is joined in the shape of A color,
It is colored B and C.

First, the clay material 1A of color A is formed into a rectangular prism shape with a diamond-shaped cross section, and the clay material 1B of color B and the clay material 1C of color C are each molded into an equilateral triangular prism shape. are joined in parallel so that their side surfaces are in close contact with each other to form a base material 2 having an equilateral triangular cross-sectional shape. Therefore, in the cross section of this base material 2, a rhombic region 2a of color A and regular triangular regions 2b, 2c of colors B and C are closely spaced and arranged in the cross-sectional shape via the bonding interface S. Basic pattern M
1 are formed in a congruent shape over the entire length (see Figure 2).

Next, the base material 2 is stretched in the longitudinal direction so that the cross-sectional shape of the base material 2 is reduced to a similar shape to form an equilateral triangular stretched body 3. Therefore, on the cross section of the stretched body 3, a scaled pattern M2, which is a scaled down basic pattern M1 of the base material 2, is formed in a congruent shape over the entire length (see FIG. 3).

Next, the stretched body 3 is divided into an appropriate number of pieces (four in this example) in the stretching direction to form divided stretched bodies 4 to 4, and then each divided stretched body 4 is divided so that the side surfaces thereof are brought into close contact with each other. are joined in parallel to form a joined body 5 in the shape of an equilateral triangular prism. Therefore, in the cross section of the joined body 5, a developed pattern M3, which is a planar development of the scaled pattern M2 of the stretched body 3, is formed in a congruent shape over the entire length (see FIG. 4).

Next, the joined body 5 is stretched in the same manner as described above.
By repeating the process of dividing and joining the cross-sectional pattern and expanding it, a composite joined body 6 in the shape of an equilateral triangular prism is formed. Therefore, on the cross section of the composite joined body 6, the developed pattern M3 of the joined body 5 is further scaled down and a mosaic pattern-like composite developed pattern M is created in a congruent shape over the entire length. Furthermore, the composite joined body 6 is sliced in the cross-sectional direction to form a plurality of plate-shaped slice pieces 7 to 7 (see FIG. 6). Therefore, the composite developed pattern M is similarly exposed on the front and back surfaces of each slice piece 7.

Now, in this example, starting from the base material 2 made of thermosetting synthetic resin clay material 1, stretching, dividing and joining are repeated to form a composite joined body 6, and the cross-sectional pattern is repeatedly scaled and developed. With this configuration, the simple basic pattern M1 can be converted into a mosaic pattern-like complex development pattern M rich in variety by a simple method, and an excellent design effect can be imparted to the decorative piece. Since the composite bonded body 6 having a cross section in which the composite development pattern M is congruently created over the entire length is sliced to form the sliced piece 7, the uniformity and reproducibility of the decorative pattern imparted to the decorative piece is improved. There are features that can be improved.

Then, by changing the cross-sectional shape of the base material 2, the design and color scheme of the basic pattern M1, the development mode at the time of pattern development, the number of repetitions, etc., the basic pattern M1' is developed as shown in FIG. 7, for example. A composite developed pattern M is created through the pattern M3', or a composite developed pattern M'' is created from the basic pattern M1'' through the developed pattern M3'' and the second developed pattern M4'' as shown in FIG. , it is possible to create decorative pieces with various decorative patterns.

That is, in the present invention, by joining in parallel in the longitudinal direction at least two rod-shaped thermosetting synthetic resin clay materials that can be plastically deformed and thermally bonded at the joining interface and are colored in different colors, the entire length in the longitudinal direction can be reduced. A first step of creating a prismatic base material in which a basic pattern is formed in a congruent cross section over the course of the process, and at the same time the external shape of the cross section is formed into a triangular or parallelogram; Stretching in the longitudinal direction so as to reduce the basic pattern to form a stretched body in which a scaled pattern obtained by reducing the basic pattern is congruent with the cross section over the entire length, and the stretched body is stretched in the stretching direction. Divide it to form an appropriate number of divided stretched bodies, and join these divided stretched bodies so that their side surfaces are in close contact with each other, so that the expanded pattern obtained by developing the scaled pattern in a plane is congruent with the cross section over the entire length. A second step of forming a prismatic joined body created in A third step of forming a composite bonded body in which a developed pattern repeatedly developed in the vertical and horizontal directions is created in a congruent shape over the entire length of the cross section, and slicing the composite bonded body in the cross-sectional direction, A plurality of plate-shaped slices having the developed pattern on the front and back surfaces are heat-treated to thermally bond the bonding interfaces of each slice, and
The fourth step of thermosetting each sliced piece gives the decorative piece an excellent design effect and allows for diversification of the designs of the decorative piece, making it an extremely useful method for producing decorative pieces for jewelry, etc. This is an excellent invention.

Note that the cross-sectional shape of the base material 2 may be a shape that allows close horizontal connection, such as a triangle or a hexagon other than a parallelogram.
