This means that the gradation is good compared to the other. If this gradation is poor, the color reproducibility and tone reproducibility of the dye image will deteriorate.

A so-called DIR compound is used which has a multilayer structure and further produces a development inhibitor by reaction with an oxidized product of a developing agent.

Furthermore, since the gradation is strictly controlled using the above-mentioned compounds, the gradation may change if the photosensitive material is stored for a long period of time after being manufactured, or if the time between exposure (photography) and development is long. This had the disadvantage that color reproducibility and tone reproducibility deteriorated.

Although the improvement effect of 05 is recognized, it is still not at a satisfactory level. However, samples 106 to 112, in which the blue-sensitive layer and the green-sensitive layer had a single structure and used the DIR compound according to the present invention, showed a remarkable improvement effect.
