うになっている。(Prior Art) A conventional air conditioning system for an automobile has a basic configuration as shown in FIG. That is, the cooler unit d and the heater unit e are arranged in series in the middle of a ventilation path C that communicates the inside air intake port a and the inside air outlet s. Further, an outside air introduction path f is joined to the upstream side of the ventilation path C, and a blower fan g is arranged downstream of the merging position of the outside air introduction path f. Further, a damper h is provided near the confluence of the outside air introduction passages f to switch the ventilation route. Then, during cooling, heating, and dehumidification, the damper h is switched as shown by the solid line to flow the indoor air as indicated by the solid line, and at the same time, only the cooler unit d is used for cooling, only the heater unit e is used for heating, and the cooler unit d and the heater are used for dehumidification. This is done by simultaneously operating unit e. Furthermore, when outside air is introduced into the vehicle, the damper is switched to the state shown by the two-dot chain line, and the outside air is caused to flow into the state shown by the broken line.

For this reason, the radiator size had to be made large because the radiator size was set assuming all driving conditions and outside temperature conditions. In addition, despite this, there is a problem in that if a cooler or the like is used on a congested road in the summer, there is a high probability of overheating.

イズで対応可能となる。(Function) When the engine starts to overheat, this invention allows the switching means to change the ventilation path by taking in outside air from the outside air inlet, guiding it to a heater unit that also serves as an auxiliary radiator, and cooling the hot air through the exhaust path. It is possible to switch to a route where the water is released outside the vehicle through the air. This allows the existing heater unit to be used as an auxiliary radiator, which prevents overheating, and allows the use of the same radiator size as the base radiator for smaller radiators or vehicle models with high heat loads.
