Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve reliability in remaining yarn discrimination by detecting the colors of the tube part and the part, supposed to have remaining yarn, of a bobbin by separate color sensors and computing these detection signals comparatively so as to discriminate the existence of the remainder. CONSTITUTION:The colors of the tube part and the part, supposed to have remaining yarn, of a bobbin 2 are respectively detected by separate color sensors 10a, 10b, and these detection signals are comparatively computed by a computing element 11. If the detected data coincide with each other from the compared result, the bobbin is discriminated to be empty, and if not, the bobbin is discriminated to have remaining yarn.

[Prior Art] A spinning bobbin inserted into a tray and transported from a spinning machine, particularly a ring spinning machine, is supplied to a winder and rewound into a package. After this rewinding step is completed, the empty bobbin discharged from the winder is extracted from the tray by a bobbin extraction device and returned to the spinning machine. A bobbin detection device with remaining yarn is provided on the conveyance path in front of the bobbin extraction device to determine whether or not residual yarn remains on the bobbin.

As shown in FIG. 2, the former contact type bobbin detection device with remaining thread moves an arm 1 in the axial direction of the bobbin 2, and moves a thread engaging member 3 such as a brush provided on the arm 1 to the bobbin 2. By contacting the arm 1 with the surface, the sensor 4 detects a certain amount of displacement of the arm 1 to determine whether there is any remaining yarn.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] By the way, in the detection method using the contact-type bobbin with remaining thread detection device, the arm 1 provided with the thread engaging member 3 is moved in the axial direction of the bobbin 2, so that detection is not possible. The problem was that it took a long time.

In addition, in the detection method using a non-contact type bobbin detection device with residual thread, one mark sensor detects the color of the bobbin, so for bobbins with a bright background color, the remaining thread and the background color of the bobbin may differ. There was a problem that it was difficult to distinguish between the two, and the reliability was low.

Means for Solving the Problem] In order to achieve the above object, the present invention detects the colors of the tube part of the bobbin and the part where residual yarn is expected to remain using separate color sensors, and uses these detection signals. The presence or absence of remaining yarn is determined by comparing and calculating.

[Function] According to the above configuration, separate color sensors detect the colors of the tube portion of the bobbin and the portion where residual yarn is expected to remain, respectively,
By comparing and calculating these detection signals, if the detection data match, it is determined that it is an empty bobbin, and if they do not match, it is determined that it is a bobbin with residual yarn.

These sensors 10a, 10b are connected to a computing unit 11, such as a microcomputer, for comparing and computing their detection signals. Further, the heads of the sensors LOa and 10b are reflective heads. Furthermore, each of the elements incorporates three color filters to detect the three primary colors of light, red, green, and blue, as well as detect brightness, and these are branched into fibers.

These data are compared and calculated by the arithmetic unit 11, and at this time, the detection error is set depending on the type of yarn, the type of bobbin, and the sensor used. , red (R+), green (G, ), blue (B+), and brightness (Sl) detection errors are ±A, ±B, respectively.
Set ±C1±D. Therefore, each detection error range is
Red: R1A≦R2≦R, +A, Green: G, -B≦G2≦G
+ 10B, blue: B, -C≦B2≦B, 10C, brightness: S, -D≦S2≦S, +D. Based on the data processed in this way, the presence or absence of remaining yarn is determined by determining that the bobbin is empty when red, green, blue, and brightness are all within the above detection error range. 0, which is designed to determine that it is a bobbin with residual thread if it deviates from the above detection error range.
