The processing and packaging process for a long roll film after emulsion coating and drying generally includes slitting (hereinafter referred to as cutting), perforation, marking of side marks including side lines or piece numbering, cutting to a fixed length, cartridge printing, etc. It consists of various sub-processes such as winding the film into a cartridge, packaging each product one by one, and logistics packaging for storing the product in a cardboard box.

Usually, dedicated processing machines are prepared for each of these partial processes, each machine can be operated independently, and products are delivered to each machine according to the progress of the work. In the above process, it is possible to work in bright light after the product packaging process, but since the photosensitive film is exposed in the process before wrapping, the process must be done in the dark, and the equipment must be covered with a light-shielding cover or the entire work area must be darkened. Workability is extremely poor. In this type of work, using the cutting machine, perforator, komasaki machine, winding machine, etc. as independent machines to perform partial processes increases the amount of in-process inventory, resulting in an increase in stock space, and increases the cost of partial processes. There are many inconveniences, such as increasing the administrative burden of goods delivery and other administrative tasks. Also, repeating winding and unwinding for each process is
This poses many problems such as charging and scratches on the film surface.

The above object of the present invention is achieved by a photographic film processing method characterized in that perforation and/or display burning is performed in the process of cutting a long film. That is, in the process of cutting a wide long film into narrow widths, a large number of small perforation holes are punched at once while keeping the width wide, and the burning process is performed simultaneously, resulting in even faster processing. can be done.

That is, a lateral reciprocating force is applied to the arm 41 biased against the lateral slide rod 24 by a drive device (not shown). At this time, when moving to the right (forward movement), the speed of the system is first synchronized with the running speed of web F2 in the acceleration section A in Figure 3, and the speed of the system is sent at the same speed as the running speed of web F2 in the punch section I. It is necessary to stop the system in the (c) deceleration section and return it as quickly as possible in the (d) fast-return section, and this operation is possible with some known methods and devices.

As a result, the horizontal slide rod 2 forms an integral rigid body.
3, 24, and the vertical slide rods 25, 26 perform reciprocating motion in the horizontal direction, and at this time, the punch unit 11a and the die unit 11b move against the vertical slide rods 25, 26.
The cam floors 29a, 29b perform horizontal reciprocating motion together with the grooved cams 31a, 31b.
Since it is engaged with the grooved cam, the travel path is regulated by the grooved cam, and it also moves in the vertical direction during forward movement.

Since the vertical relationship between the punch unit 11a and the die unit 11b is strictly controlled by the vertical slide rods 25 and 26, during forward movement, the pilot punch 111a and the perforation punch 112a punch through the traveling film and enter the die hole 110b. Insert and perform drilling operation.

When drilling, the pilot punch 111a locates several holes at the rear of the perforation drilled in the previous operation, inserts the pilot punch 111a into the perforation in advance, and then performs the drilling with the perforation punch 112a. It will not upset the Horatio Pitch. Further, it may be necessary to slightly modify the running condition of the film web F2 in conjunction with the pilot punch 111a, but this can be done by using a known web running control method using dancer rollers or the like.

The present applicant has already proposed several inventions and ideas regarding the display burning device used in the long film cutting process of the present invention. In other words, a patent application issued in 1973 for performing synchronous burning while transporting the film using a flash light source.
The device proposed in the specification of Japanese Utility Model No. 160532 or Japanese Utility Model Application No. 119495/1986 can be immediately incorporated and applied. Further, a method of display burn-in using a CRT can be incorporated and applied to the apparatus of the present invention.

The photographic film processing method of the present invention described above reduces the number of times of winding and unwinding of a long film, which was conventionally performed, and perforates or burns the film in the form of strips. Therefore, when using the method of the present invention that interlocks and integrates as shown in Figure 1, it reduces intermediate work-in-process inventory and the space for it, shortens process transit time, and simplifies goods delivery work between subdivision processes. This is a new invention that has the effect of greatly improving productivity, such as reducing the number of operators, eliminating logistics between process equipment, and reducing the number of operating personnel.
