Conventionally, a sliding door opening/closing device generally employed in vehicles, etc. has a single rail 100 horizontally provided above the entrance/exit A, as shown in FIG.
A pair of left and right sliding door hangers 103, 103 and 104, 104 are provided at the upper ends of the pair of sliding doors 101, 102, respectively.
The door wheel 105 attached to these sliding door hangers,
105, 106, 106 are mounted on a rail 100 so as to be freely movable, and the sliding doors 101, 102 are hung so that they can be opened and closed in opposite directions. Ingredients 10
3, 103, 104, and 104 are provided with anti-slip rollers (not shown) so as to come into contact with the lower surface of the rail 100.

The above-mentioned sliding door opening/closing device is driven by an appropriate driving means (not shown), and the door roller 1 moves on the rail 100.
05, 105, 106, 106 are running while both sliding doors 101, 102 are opened on both sides of entrance A as shown by the dashed line in the figure. 10
Since the rails 100 must be extended on both sides of the entrance A by an opening/closing stroke of 1,102, the length of the rail 100 is approximately twice as long as the width of the entrance A. Therefore, the device becomes larger and requires a wider installation space. There were problems such as the need for space. Furthermore, the above-mentioned sliding door opening/closing device has door wheels 105, 105, 106,
106 simply runs on the rail 100, it causes problems such as rattling when running, and even if a roller to prevent it from rolling is provided on the underside of the rail 100 to prevent this, the sliding door hanger 10
3, 103, 104, and 104 had to be increased in vertical dimension, and there was also a problem in terms of installation space.

Further, 4a and 4b are sliding door hangers fixed to the upper end corners of the sliding doors 3a and 3b, respectively, on the door tip side.
As shown in FIG. 8, one sliding door hanger 4a has an arm 47a projecting in the closing direction of the sliding door 3a.
At the same time, four door wheels 41 are attached to the arm 47a with bolts attached to the vertical piece 481a of the suspension main body 48a.
a, 42a, 43a, and 44a, and the vertical piece 481a is a hinge. At the tip of the horizontal piece 482a of the hanging tool main body 48a is a mounting seat plate 4.
83a is integrally formed, and this mounting seat plate 48
3a is bolted to the upper end corner of the sliding door 3a. Also, door wheels 41a, 42a, 43a,
44a are diagonally arranged two at a time to form a substrate 45.
a, 46a, and this substrate 45a,
46a is attached by bolting to the back surface of arm 47a. As shown in FIG. 1, this sliding door hanging tool 47a has an arm 47a located above the other sliding door 3a when the door is closed, and the door wheels 41a and 43a on the diagonally upper side are positioned above the rail 2a.
In the upper concave groove part 21a, and the door roller 42 on the diagonally lower side.
a, 44a in the lower groove part 22a of the rail 2a,
The arms 47a are fitted and press-contacted to each other so that they can move freely, and when the sliding door 3a is fully opened, the arm 47a moves along the rail 2a to a position above the sliding door 3a when the sliding door 3a is fully closed. Therefore, it is sufficient for the rail 2a to be slightly shorter than the width of the entrance A, as shown in FIG.

First, when the door is closed as shown in FIG.
Since pressurized air is supplied from 13, both sliding doors 3a and 3b are in the closed position and the door end gaskets 32a and 32b are pressed against each other, and the air cylinders 5 and 5 for pushing out and returning have ports. 5
Since pressurized air is supplied from 5, both sliding doors 3a and 3b are in the return position flush with the vehicle body wall B and are in pressure contact with the seal gasket A1 on the periphery of the entrance A. Therefore, the interior of the vehicle is kept airtight.

When opening the sliding door from this closed state, when the opening/closing operation valve (not shown) is switched from closed to open, pressurized air is initially supplied only to the air cylinders 5, 5 for pushing and returning from the port 54 on the opposite side. The air cylinder 61 of the opening/closing driving means remains in the same state. When pressurized air is supplied to the air cylinders 5, 5 from the port 54 in this way, the cylinders 5, 5 move toward the car body wall B by the amount of the stroke, and the movable support that is in a fixed relationship with the cylinders 5, 5 moves toward the car body wall B. The base 1 also moves linearly toward the vehicle body wall B guided by slide bearings 12, 12 sliding along the axes 14, 14 of bearing brackets 13, 13 on both sides. Therefore, both the sliding doors 3a and 3b, which are suspended from the rails 2a and 2b fixed to the support base 1 via the sliding door hanging tools 4a and 4b, close the entrance A by the stroke of the cylinders 5 and 5 while remaining closed.

When the sliding door pushing operation described above is completed, pressurized air is then supplied from the port 612 to the air cylinder 61 of the opening/closing driving means 6, and the piston rod 611 is pushed out in the opening direction of the sliding door 3b. By extruding the piston rod 611, a rack 62 is connected to the piston rod 611 via a connecting plate 64.

The other rack 62a, which is connected to this rack 62b via the pinion 63, moves in the opposite direction (the opening direction of the sliding door 3a). Therefore, a connecting member 65 is attached to each rack 62a, 62b.

When closing the sliding doors 3a and 3b from this open state, when the opening/closing operation valve (not shown) is switched from open to closed, pressurized air is supplied to the air cylinder 61 of the second driving means 6 from the port 613,
Although exhaust is performed from the air cylinder 12, the air cylinders 5, 5 for extrusion and return continue to be supplied with air to the port 54, and the extrusion state is maintained. When the sliding doors 3a, 3b are kept in the pushed-out state, pressurized air is supplied to the port 613 of the air cylinder 61, and the piston rod 611 is retracted.
The sliding door 3b moves in the retracting direction of the piston rod 611 (that is, the closing direction of the sliding door 3b) by the stroke thereof, and the other rack 62a, the sliding door hanging tool 4a, and the sliding door are connected to the rack 62b via a pinion 63. 3a moves in the opposite direction (ie, in the closing direction of the sliding door 3a) by the same amount of stroke. When both sliding doors 3a, 3b are closed together in the pushed-out state, pressurized air is then supplied to the air cylinders 5, 5 through the port 55, and exhausted through the port 54 on the opposite side. Therefore, the air cylinders 5, 5 move in a direction away from the vehicle body wall B, whereby the movable support base 1, the sliding door hangers 4a, 4b, and the sliding doors 3a, 3b return to their original positions. At this time, along with the return of the movable support base 1, the L-shaped arms 73a, 73b of the auxiliary means 7 also rotate back via the connection means 8a, 8b, and the sliding door 3
Pull in the lower parts of a and 3b. Therefore both sliding doors 3
a and 3b are drawn into the doorway A while being closed to each other, and the upper and lower edges of the sliding doors 3a and 3b and the edge on the door bottom side are pressed against the sealing pad A1 around the doorway A, and the door is closed as shown in FIG. Return to state.

As described above, the sliding door opening/closing device of this invention has a pair of rails 2a and 2b having a substantially C-shaped cross section.
are provided back to back, and a pair of sliding doors 3a,
An arm 47 protruding from the upper end of 3b in the door closing direction
a, 47b are attached, and the door wheels 41a, 42a, 43a, 44a provided on the arm 47a of one sliding door hanging tool 4a are attached to one rail 2a, and the sliding door hanging tool 4b of the other sliding door hanging tool 4b is attached. arm 47b
The door rollers 41b, 42b, 43b, and 44b provided on the two rails are each held on the other rail 2b so as to be freely runnable, and each of the door rollers is fitted and press-fitted into the upper groove portions 21a and 21b of the one rail 2a and the other rail 2b. door wheels 41a, 43a, 41b, 43b, and a door wheel 42 that fits and presses into the lower groove portions 22a, 22b.
a, 44a, 42b, 44b, even when the sliding doors 3a, 3b are fully opened to both sides of the entrance/exit A, the arms 47 of the sliding door hangers 4a, 4b
Since the rails 2a and 47b only move to the upper position of the sliding doors 3a and 3b in the closed state, and do not extend to either side of the doorway A, the length of each rail 2a and 2b is determined by adjusting the length of the doorway A. The width of the rail 1 can be made equal to or slightly shorter than the width of the entrance A, which is about twice the width of the entrance A, unlike the conventional equipment.
Compared to a device that requires 00, the device is extremely compact, and a large installation base is not required, and other remarkable effects are obtained. The effect is that it does not occur. In particular, when constructing a sliding door opening/closing device for a vehicle of the push-out opening/closing type as in the embodiment, space for a door bag, etc. is not required, and the movable support base 1 includes rails 2a, 2b, and air cylinders 5, 5 for pushing/returning. By attaching the opening/closing drive means 6, etc., the main parts of the device can be made into a unit, which simplifies the installation work of the device to the vehicle body.
Furthermore, since the pushing/returning and opening/closing operations of the sliding door are performed separately, the seal gasket around the entrance/exit A is
Additional effects such as eliminating wear of A1 or poor airtightness when closing the door can be obtained.
