ール14’が予め定められた径に減少すると、クラッチ
16が入位置となるととによって駆動され、トランスフ
ァアーム2の巻取ロール14′ より繰出される走行紙
の速度と同速になる。同速となった時点で径が小さくな
っている巻取ロール14′の紙は新巻取ロール14にス
プライス装置6のスプライスロール4によって押付けら
れ、新巻取ロール14に貼られた糊テープに接着したの
ち、紙切装置7にて切断される。上述の紙継ぎ時に必要
な新巻取ロール14の糊付位置の設定は、従来第3図の

により目印が水平位置に来た瞬間を検出するよう構成さ
れている。本構成を用いた糊付位置設定方法について第

のように駆動側に行ってクラッチを操作したり、糊付位
置と目印との位置合わせに注意を払ったりする動作と心
労から脱することができ、安全衛生上からも好ましい方
