【発明の詳細な説明】 (a) 産業上の利用分野 この発明は、円筒状電極を備えてなる静電容量
形近接スイツチのシール方法に関するものであ
る。

電容量形近接スイツチを新規提案した。その概略
縦断面図を第1図に示し、概略横断面図を第2図
に示す。図において、筒状ケース本体1の肉部1
1にはケース本体1の上面側に開口部部12a,
13aにて開口した円筒状有底溝12,13が同
心円状に形成されている。大径の溝12には円筒
状の検出電極3が挿設され、小径の溝13には同
じく円筒状の遮蔽電極4が挿設されている。これ
によつて検出電極3および遮蔽電極4は位置決め
される。ケース本体1の中央中空部14には回路
部品を搭載したプリント基板5が中空部14壁面
のガイドレール15に沿つて挿設されている。検
出電極3および遮蔽電極4はそれぞれ導線(図示
せず)にてプリント基板5の所定の端子部(図示
せず)に接続されている。導線6はプリント基板
5からケース本体1の下面側導線引き出し口16
を介して導出される出力信号および電源用の電線
ケーブルである。そしてケース本体1の上面はケ
ースヘツド2によつてケース本体1側の環状突起
10とケースヘツド2側に環状凹溝20との嵌合
によつて嵌着閉蓋される。このようにして構成さ
れた円筒状電極を有する静電容量形近接スイツチ
Sはケース本体1とケースヘツド2との嵌合部分
から電極部分に水あるいは油等が浸入し、このこ
とによる静電容量の変化から物体検出感度に変化
を来す虞れがあり、したがつて水分等の浸入防止
のためケース内部を充填材にてシールしておくの
が通常である。ところでこのシール方法は従来ケ
ース本体1の所定の部位に電極3,4およびプリ
ント基板5を挿設してケースヘツド2をケース本
体1に嵌着した後にケースヘツド2側を下にし導
線引き出し口16から充填材を注入して行つてい
た。
