の有無が検査され、欠陥が発見されたものは同じ
建屋内の使用済燃料ピツトの中の破損燃料保管容
器の中に収納されて保管される。第1,2図に示
すように、破損燃料保管容器aは、燃料取扱建屋
内の使用済燃料ピツトの水中に、使用済燃料ラツ
クbと区別して設けられた破損燃料ラツクcに置
かれているので約10メートルの深さの水中で、破
損燃料保管容器aの蓋を取除き、使用済燃料ピツ
トの上を走行するクレーンにより破損燃料を収納
したのち、蓋をしなければならない。上記破損燃
料保管容器aは、第3,4,5図に示すように本
体1と破損燃料が入るバスケツト2と本体フラン
ジ3と蓋4とクレーンから吊り下げたグリツパに
よりつかんで蓋4を引き上げるための蓋4側のト
ツプノズル5とにより構成され、蓋4の中心を本
体フランジ3の中心に合わせるためのセンターガ
イドピン6(2本)が本体フランジ3に固定さ
れ、本体フランジ3と蓋4とが多数(図面では10
組)のヒンジボルト7及びナツト8により締め付
け、固定されるようになつている。ヒンジボルト
7の一端の穴を貫通するピン10が本体1に固着
された取付金具9に取付けられ、ヒンジボルト7
がピン10を中心に半径方向に回転可能である。
本体フランジ3及び蓋4には、ヒンジボルト7が
倒れるのに支障を来たさないように外周部に切り
込みが設けられている。ヒンジボルト7は、第
6,7,8図に示すようにナツト8をゆるめて、
蓋4を取除くと、ばね11の力でA点に当るまで
倒れ、次いで蓋4を本体フランジ3に近づける
と、蓋4に取付けたピン12が本体フランジ3の
穴13を通つてその下面から出る。このとき、ヒ
ンジボルト7の根元のB面を半径方向内方へ押す
と、ばね11の力に抗してヒンジボルト7が次第
に立ち、ほぼ垂直になつて止る。その際、ナツト
8は蓋4の縁に引掛らないような位置にいなけれ
ばならない。
