Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve cross talk from a closure gap to a reading side and to improve reading characteristic by reducing the neighboring area of a closure core to a read core as much a possible without reducing the strength of the closure core. aに挿入して他方のC形コア(ライトコア)2の先端2
aに対接せしめ、この部分を中央の磁気ギヤ・ノブ4と
し、またクロージャコア3と前記ライトコア2の先端2
aとの対接部を側方磁気ギャップつまりクロージャギャ
ップ5.5としている。前記りードコア1およびライト
コア2にそれぞれ巻線を施し、実線矢印の如くリードコ
ア1およびライトコア2の中央部を通る磁気回路Aと破
線矢印で示すライトコア2およびクロージャコア3間を
通る磁気回路Bとを形成する。データ書き込みの際はラ
イトコア2の巻線電流制御により中央磁気ギャップ4お
よびクロージャギャップ5,5の全1〜ラック巾Wで書
き込みを行い、読み出しはり一ドコア1の中央の磁気ギ
ャップ4による狭いトラック巾W′でデータの読み出し
を行う。
