本発明は,例えば原稿読取#lI@複写m−プリンタ等
において原稿読取部−露光部番作像部等へシート原稿な
いしは転写紙●感光紙●記録紙等のシート材を給送する
たのシート材給送装置に関するものである.
更に詳しくは、シート材執置台と,該藏置台上の載量シ
ート材の給送方向と直角方向の両側に夫々位置して載置
シート材の両備面部を位置規制する第1と第2の規制部
材を有し、その両規制部材のうち少なくとも一方の規M
部材は他方の規制部材との間隔を載置シート材のサイズ
に応じて広狭m簡できる可動の部材であり,該可動の規
制部材はシート材藏置台上を摺動する座坂部分と、これ
に一体のシート材側面部に対向する規@壁部分先有し、
該座板部分は他方の規制部材との間隔部側である内向き
に張り出している構處のシート材セット部を懺えている

(従来の技術)
第3図は上記のようなシート材セット部を有するシート
材給送装置例の概略構成を示す斜視図である.

(!)・2(■)の座坂部分2l●21は何れも各規制
部材の間隔部側である内向きとしてある.
第1と第2の規制部材2(I)φ2(■)をその両者間
の間隔を広げ操作して開き状態にし、その両者間のシー
ト材載置台l上にシート材S例えばシート原稿や転写材
シート等をIIL(第3図実線示)、次いで互いの間隔
を狭め操作して各規制部材2(!)●2(■)の規制壁
部分22拳22の内面を夫々シート材Sの側面部に当接
させた閉じ状態にする(同図2点#1線示).これによ
り載置シート材Sの両側面部が位置規制され,不図示の
シート材給送手段の動作で載置シート材Sが最上位のも
のまたは最下位のものから順次に1枚分離給送Aされて
いくときのシート材斜行が防止される.
第1と第2の規制部材2(1)−2(■)の各内向き張
り出し座板部分21●2lは規制部材2(I)●2(n
)の狭め閉じ操作で載置シート材Sの最下位シート材の
裏面とシート材載置台1の上面との間に進入して位置す
る.このとき座板縁部の端面(板の肉厚!s)が載置シ
ート材Sの側面部に突き当って引っかかり規制部材2(
I)2(n)の寄せ移動C●C′が妨げられることのな
いよラに2該座板縁部は前下りの傾斜テーバー縁23●

坂部分2lを外向きとしたものは、その座板縁部の載置
シート材側面部に対する引っかかりは構成上生じないけ
れども、薄いシート材の場合には矢張り座板部分21と
シート材載置台1而との間隙にシート材の側辺部が入り
込んでかみ込まれることがある.また最大給紙サイズを
同じとした場合、第3図例装置のように可動の規制部材
2(I●■)の座板部分2lを内向きとしたものに比べ
て、外向きとした座坂部分2lの外方張り出し分だけは
シート材載置台lの横幅が広くなり、大型化することに
なる.
本発明は可動の規制部材の座板部分を内向きとした構成
のものについて、上記■や■のような欠点を解消したも

ト材の側辺に対して斜めになるようにしたことを特徴と
する.(作用)
可動の規制部材をシート材tm台上に載置したシート材
の幅に合せて寄せ移動したとき、該規制部材の内向き張
り出し座板部分の一部はシート材I!置台の上面より下
に位置しているから,この一部部分は載置シート材の側
面に引っかかりを生じたり、その下側にシート材をかみ
込んだりすることな<aatシート材の下面側に必ず進
入していく.そしてこの進入により該一部部分以外の座
板主体部分も載置シート材下面偏に対して進入案内され
る.この場合該一部部分から連なる座板縁部を載置シー
ト材の儂辺に対して斜めになるようにしたので、該一部
部分の載置シート材下面側への進入に引き続く座板主体
部分のaa!シー1・材下面側への進入も,その縁部が
載置シート材の側面に引っかかりを生じたり,その下側
にシー1・材をかみ込んだりすることなく常に確実●ス
ムーズになされる.
(実施例)
第1図は一実施例装置の要部の斜視図である.この例は
中央基準搬送タイプのもので、第1と第2の規制部材2
(I) ++2 (n)は何れも可動部材(スライド
ガイド)である.
各規制部材2(工)φ2(■)の各内向き張り出し座板
部分21−21は夫々その略中央部を頂部とする平面略
三角板形状にしてあり、七の三角板の頂部を前方へ延長

第2図は片側基準搬送タイプの一方の規制部材2(■)
は固定とし、他方の規制部材2(工)だけを可動とした

している構成のシート材セット部を備えているシート材
給送装置において、シート材載置台上を摺動する上記可
動の規制部材の内向き張り出し座板部分の一部をシート
材載置台の上面より下に位置するようにし、そこから連
なる座板縁部を載置シート材の側辺に対して斜めになる
