[Prior Art] For example, in a thermal transfer printer, as is well known, visible information is recorded by heating a heat-sublimating dye with a thermal print head and transferring it onto a print such as paper.
The heat-sublimable dye is applied to a ribbon or sheet, the dye-coated side of the ribbon or sheet is brought into contact with the print receiving surface, and the opposite side is heated by a thermal print head. A thermal print head has a heating element array in which a large number of heating elements are arranged in a linear manner, and each of them generates heat according to the information to be recorded. This sublimates the dye in the heated portion of the ribbon or sheet and transfers it to the print receiving surface. Such a thermal transfer printer is effectively applied to a video printer, for example. By the way, in a thermal transfer printer, when, for example, a dye on an ink ribbon is heated by a head and transferred to an image receiving surface, the image receiving layer is softened by the heat of the head, and a depression corresponding to the shape of the head is created on the image receiving surface. In the high-density area, this richness occurs line by line, so that a lattice-like unevenness is formed on the transfer surface.

The surface that presses against the print image receiving surface when the processing sheet is placed on the mount is formed to be a smooth surface. Then, the entire surface of the print placed on the mount is sandwiched between the processing sheet and the mount and set inside the surface treatment sheet. In this state, insert it between a pair of pressure rollers and apply pressure while heating it. Heating softens the image-receiving layer resin of the print, and in this state, when a pressure roller presses it through the processing sheet, the image-receiving surface is smoothed according to the shape of the smooth surface. Note that by forming the smooth surface into a matte surface, image reception is improved. You can also make the surface matte. In addition, prints usually have markings on the reverse side of the image receiving surface where the main image is recorded, such as markings to indicate the manufacturer, etc., and marks to detect the feed position of the print when recording images, so when surface processing This printing ink adheres to rollers, etc. If this is left unattended, it will transfer to the next print to be processed and stain it, but this can be effectively prevented by providing a mount. [Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, in general, once the treated surface of the treated sheet is subjected to surface treatment, it absorbs a portion of the dye on the print receiving surface due to heat and pressure, so reuse is not possible. It is possible. Therefore, the mount had to be disposed of along with the processing sheet, which was uneconomical. [Object of the Invention] An object of the present invention is to provide an economical surface-treated sheet that can be surface-treated more than once. [Means for Solving the Problems] In order to achieve the above object, the present invention performs surface treatment of the image receiving surface according to the shape of the treated surface by pressing the treated surface against the heated print image receiving surface. The surface-treated sheet is composed of the first and second treated sheets and a base sheet to which these treated sheets are fixed on the front and back sides in a freely undulating manner. [Operation] First, place the print on one side of the base sheet with the image-receiving surface facing up, cover it with the first treated sheet, cover the image-receiving surface with the treated surface, and set the print inside the surface-treated sheet. do. In this state, the image-receiving surface is heated and the treated surface is pressed against it, thereby making it possible to apply a surface treatment to the print image-receiving surface in accordance with the first treatment surface. Next, a new print can be set between the other side of the base sheet and the treated side of the second treatment sheet, and surface treatment can be performed again. The operation of this embodiment having the above configuration will be explained below. [Embodiment] In FIG. 1 showing a surface-treated sheet according to an embodiment of the present invention, a pair of pressure rollers 11.12 rotate about parallel shafts 13.14, respectively. Pressure roller 13.1
4 is a roller of the same shape that is longer in the axial direction than the width direction of the surface treated sheet 16. Heaters 17 and 1B are arranged above and below the pressure rollers 11 and 12 with a slight gap between them, and when these heaters 17 and 18 generate heat, the smooth peripheral surfaces 11a and 12a of the pressure rollers 11 and 12 are heated. Ru.
The heater 17.1B has the same length in the axial direction as the pressure rollers 11 and 12, and can heat the peripheral surfaces 11a and 12a evenly. The surface-treated sheet 16 inserted between the rollers 11 and 12 has a matte surface on the first surface 19a and the second surface 19b, which is the back surface, of the base sheet 19, which is a paper mount, for example. 21, One side of the smooth sheet 22 is fixed. The matte sheet 21 and the smooth sheet 22 have a softening point higher than that of the image-receiving layer resin of the print 23 and have good thermal conductivity. The surface treated sheet 16 has, for example, a matte surface 21a and a first surface 19a.
During this period, the print 2 in which the main image is recorded on the image receiving surface 23a is printed.
A matte surface treatment is applied between the two sides. In addition, on the back side 23b of the image receiving surface 23a of the print 23, a code mark for detecting the optical position of the print, a name of the manufacturer, etc. are written on the back side 24 by printing or magic ink, etc. The second side 19 prevents the writing 24 on the back side from being transferred to the smooth surface 22a.
Another print 25 indicated by a two-dot chain line is set between b and the smooth surface 22a, and the surface is treated. The operation of this embodiment having the above configuration will be explained below. First, when the image-recorded print 23 is ejected from a thermal transfer printer (not shown), it is supported by the matte surface sheet 21 and the base sheet 19 so that the image receiving area 23a is in contact with the matte surface 21a. Set it in the surface treatment sheet 16. Then, the heaters 17 and 18 are made to generate heat, and the pressure rollers 11 and 12 are rotated in the directions of the arrows.

.. 12a pressurizes the surface treatment sheet 16 from both sides.
At this time, the print 23 is heated by the peripheral surfaces 11a and 12a via the matte surface sheet 21 and the smooth surface sheet 22, which softens the image receiving layer. 23a is made into a matte surface. In addition, since the liquid pressure rollers 11 and 12 are rotating, the second
As shown in Figure (A), the surface treated sheet 16 is conveyed in the direction of arrow A. Along with this conveyance, the image receiving surface 23
aThe entire surface becomes matte. As a result, the irregularities on the image receiving surface 23a, which are unevenly formed according to the recorded image, are made uniform, resulting in a substantially uniform matte surface. Image receiving surface 23a
Once the entire surface has been made into a matte surface, the surface treatment sheet 16 is discharged from the conveyance side. Note that the main image on the image receiving surface 23a is transferred to the matte surface 21a by the heat and pressure at this time,
Since the description 24 on the back side of the print 23 is transferred to the first side 19a, these sides cannot be reused. Next, after waiting for the temperature of the ejected surface treatment sheet 16 to decrease, the print 23 is taken out from the surface treatment sheet 16, and a new print 25 is placed on the smooth surface 22a on the image receiving surface 25a.

As shown in FIG. 2B, pressing rollers 11 and 12 convey the surface-treated sheet 16 while heating and pressing it. This allows the image receiving surface 25a to be smoothed.
Two prints 23 and 25 are surface treated using one surface treatment sheet l6. It is possible and economical to do so. In this example, a polyester film was used as the surface-treated sheet, but
Polyimide with heat resistance. Of course, the same effect can be obtained by using a film such as polycarbonate. Also, both sea}21.2
It goes without saying that both surfaces may be made smooth or matte and subjected to the same type of surface treatment. [Effects of the Invention] As explained above, in the surface-treated sheet of the present invention, the first... Since the second processing sheet is fixed to the front and back of the base sheet in a flexible manner, both sides of the base sheet can be effectively used to process two prints with one surface treatment sheet, which is economical.
