開閉駆動すべくロツカシヤフトに支承され、それ
らのロツカアームには機関の運転状態に応じて相
互の連結および連結解除を油圧に応じて切換可能
な油圧式連結切換機構が設けられ、前記カムおよ
びロツカアームの摺接部に潤滑油を供給するため
の潤滑路と、前記油圧式連結切換機構とに通じる
給油路がロツカシヤフト内に設けられ、該給油路
と油圧供給源との間には切換弁が介設される内燃
機関用動弁装置において、切換弁は、油圧供給源
に通じる入口ポートならびに給油路に通じる出口
ポートを有するハウジングに、入口ポートおよび
出口ポート間の連通、遮断を切換可能なスプール
弁体が摺動可能に嵌合されて成り、ハウジングに
は入口ポートおよび出口ポート間を連通するオリ
フイス孔が穿設されることを特徴とする内燃機関
