第１図は本考案を周期磁界ヘリツクス形進行波
管の電子ビーム集束装置に適用した場合の一実施
例の概念的横断面図であり、この第１図の上半分
はヘリツクス形進行波管をベーキングする際の真
空外容器に対する磁極の相対位置を示しており、
下半分は使用時における相対位置を示している。
第２図は従来の周期磁界ヘリツクス形進行波管の
電子ビーム集束装置を説明するための横断面図で
ある。 主な参照番号、１……真空外容器、２……磁極
、３……ヘリツクス、４……誘電体支柱。

Claims (1)
- 電子を射出する電子銃部と、電子ビーム集束装
置を備えた電子ビームと高周波とを相互作用させ
る遅波回路部と、電子を補捉するコレクタ部とを
有するマイクロ波管において、上記遅波回路部を
構成する真空外容器の外側表面部分に凹部を周期
的に設けたことを特徴とするマイクロ波管。
