Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 この考案は自転車の前ホークとヘツド接合部に
おけるシール装置に関する。周知のように、自転
車のハンドルポストと前ホークステムの端部はヘ
ツドパイプに挿入され、更にハンドルポストと前
ホークステムには玉押部を設け、またヘツドパイ
プにはそれぞれワン部を設け、上記玉押部とワン
部の間に複数個のボールを介在させ、ハンドルポ
スト及び前ホークステムを回転自在に支持する構
造が採用されていた。

にoリングdを嵌め込んでシール装置を構成して
いた。

において下ワンの下部周縁に嵌合する胴部を有
し、且つ下ワンの下端面を支持する底盤部を有し
て該底盤部の内周に所要角度をもつて内側に起立
した傾斜片を具有する環状のダストカバーを上記
下ワンの下方周縁部に嵌着するものである。以下
図示の実施例に基いてこの考案を説明すると、第
2図は自転車の前ホーク及びハンドルポストとヘ
ツドパイプとの接合部を示すものである。1は自
転車における車輪の前ホークであつて、前ホーク
1の肩部1aの上端中央には前ホークステム2が
植設され、該前ホークステム2の上部にある縮径
部2aはヘツドパイプ3の下方に挿入されると共
に、縮径部2aの基端にはその外周に湾曲状の玉
受部4aを有する環状の下玉押4を設ける。ま
た、ヘツドパイプ3の下端開口にはその内周に湾
曲状の玉受部5aを有する下ワン5の上方に設け
られた嵌入部5bを嵌合し、上記下ワン5の内周
に形成した玉受部5aと下玉押4の外周に形成し
た玉受部4aの間に複数個のボール6を介在させ
て前ホークステム2とヘツドパイプ3との接合部
を構成する。一方7は自転車のハンドルであつ
て、ハンドル7の下端中央にはハンドルポスト8
が垂設され、該ハンドルポスト8はその先端を上
記ヘツドパイプ3の上方に挿入されると共に、そ
の挿入部分の基端には外周に玉受部9aを有する
環状の上玉押9を設け、またヘツドパイプ3の上
端開口にはその内周に玉受部10aを有する上ワ
ン10の下方に設けられた嵌入部10bを嵌合
し、上記上ワン10の玉受部10aと上玉押9の
玉受部9aの間に複数個のボール6を介在させて
ハンドルポスト8とヘツドパイプ3上端部との接
合部を構成する。尚、上記ハンドルポスト8とヘ
ツドパイプ3上端部との接合部においては、上ワ
ン10の上部内周面に形成した環状溝11にoリ
ング12を嵌合すると共に、上玉押9の上方に上
ワン10の上側外周を覆う環状の庇部13を延設
してシール装置を構成する。

部14bを有して該底盤部14bの内周に所要角
度をもつて内側に起立した先端先細り状の傾斜片
14cを具有する環状のダストカバー14を、傾
斜片14cの先端部を下玉押4の下部外周面4b
と接触せしめて上記下ワン5の下方周縁部5dに
嵌着することによりシール装置を形成する。

も流出することがない。更に又、ダストカバー1
4は可撓性材質で構成され、傾斜片14cはその
先端が先細り状になつているため、下玉押4の下
部外周面4bに傾斜片14cの先端部が屈曲自在
に接触し、したがつてこの接触部において摩擦を
発生することなくシールすることができる。
