The wrap 8 is formed in the same spiral shape as the wrap 7 of the fixed scroll 3, and a gas compression chamber 14 is formed inside thereof. Further, the end plate 6 is provided with a gas passage hole 19 that applies gas pressure from the compression chamber 14 to the housing chamber 2 during gas compression.

With the orbiting movement of the orbiting scroll 4, gas is drawn into the wrap 7 of the fixed scroll 3 through the suction hole 11, and the gas is compressed within the wrap 7 of the fixed scroll 3 and the wrap 8 of the orbiting scroll 4. The compressed gas is sequentially compressed in the chambers 13 and 14 and is discharged through a discharge hole 12 provided in the center of the fixed scroll 3.

In the gas compression process, when the gas pressure increases, a force is generated that tries to separate the fixed scroll 3 and the orbiting scroll 4. However, gas pressure is introduced into the housing 2 through the gas vent 19, and the back of the orbiting scroll 4 is Since gas pressure is applied, it is possible to counteract the force that tends to pull them apart.

By the way, during operation of the compressor, by applying gas pressure to the back of the orbiting scroll 4 as described above, the space between the tip of the wrap 7 of the fixed scroll 3 and the end plate 6 of the orbiting scroll 4, and the space between the orbiting scroll 4
A seal can be maintained between the tip of the wrap 8 and the end plate 5 of the fixed scroll 3. However, when the compressor is stopped, the orbiting scroll 1 descends due to its own weight and becomes detached from the fixed scroll 3.
Therefore, in order to obtain stable performance even when the compressor is started up, the support part 10 formed between the frame 1 and the annular peripheral part 9 of the fixed scroll 3, and the end of the orbiting scroll 4 supported by the support part 10 are required. It is necessary to make the gap with the plate 6 as small as possible.

Also, while the compressor is operating, as shown in Figure 3, side force F G is activated due to gas pressure.
Due to the difference in the point of action of the drive shaft 17 of the orbiting scroll 4, an overturning moment M acts on the orbiting scroll 4, and this overturning moment M can be one of the causes of abnormal phenomena during the orbiting motion. Therefore, if the gap between the support portion 10 and the end plate 6 of the orbiting scroll 4 is increased, the overturning moment M must be counteracted by the bearing portion 15 connecting the orbiting scroll 4 and the drive shaft 17. However, the bearing part 1
5 to absorb the overturning moment M, there is a problem that uneven contact occurs between the bearing portion 15 and the drive shaft 17, impairing the functions of these members, and furthermore, excessive force is applied to the Oldham joint 18. There is also the problem that the Oldham joint 18 may fail.

An object of the present invention is to prevent damage caused by uneven contact between the drive shaft and the bearing of the orbiting scroll and failure of the Oldham joint, stabilize the motion of the orbiting scroll, and improve efficiency. is to provide scroll fluid machinery.

In order to achieve the above object, the scroll fluid mechanism according to the present invention fixes a fixed scroll at the periphery of a frame, and supports an orbiting scroll by sandwiching it in an annular gap formed between the frame and the fixed scroll. , the orbiting scroll is connected to the drive shaft eccentric with respect to the axis of the main shaft via a bearing, and the orbiting scroll is orbited around the center of the fixed scroll to transfer fluid, compress gas, or In a scroll fluid machine configured to perform expansion, an axial clearance formed at the outer periphery of the orbiting scroll in the gap is δ, and a diameter of the outer edge of the orbiting scroll is δ.
2R, the clearance and length of the above bearing are c and d, respectively.
In this case, the gap δ is set in a range of δ≦2R·c/d.

In short, the above configuration is a configuration in which the inclination angle of the orbiting scroll with respect to a plane perpendicular to the drive shaft can be made smaller than the inclination angle with respect to the drive shaft, and with this configuration, all of the above objects can be achieved. It is.

If we consider the side force F G associated with gas compression as a concentrated load, its point of action will be at the center of the height h of the lap 8 of the orbiting scroll 4.
On the other hand, the fulcrum O C for supporting the orbiting scroll 4 is located at the center of the drive shaft 17. As a result, an overturning moment M calculated by the following equation acts on the orbiting scroll 4 due to the difference l in the point of action.

That is, the diametrical gap between the bearing part 15 and the drive shaft 17 of the orbiting scroll 4 is c, the length of the bearing part 15 is d, the outermost diameter of the orbiting scroll 4 is 2R, and the support part 10 is an annular gap. When the gap between the end plates 6 of the orbiting scroll 4 is δ, θ=tan -1 δ/2R d=tan -1 c/d Since δ/2R and c/d are small values, θ≒δ/2R α≒ c/d Here, if θ≦α, δ/2R≦c/d Therefore, δ≦2R・c/d In other words, the value of the gap δ between the support part 10 and the end plate 6 of the orbiting scroll 4 is 2R - By setting the value to c/d or less, the orbiting scroll 4 can maintain a stable function while the compressor is operating.

In addition, since the gap δ is minute, the amount of separation of the orbiting scroll 4 from the fixed scroll 3 when the compressor is stopped is minute, and even if the orbiting scroll 4 is separated from the fixed scroll 3 when the compressor is started, Although it is insufficient, the compression action can be performed from the beginning of startup, and the discharge output can be increased. As the compression action progresses and the gas pressure increases, a gas pressure higher than the gas suction pressure is applied from the gas vent 19 to the housing chamber 2, and the orbiting scroll 4 is pressed toward the fixed scroll 3, and the two are brought into close contact. Demonstrates sufficient cord pressure function.

When the present invention is applied to an air conditioning compressor,
Even in the face of large load fluctuations caused by liquid buildup on the suction pipe or defrosting operation, the orbiting scroll 4 does not disengage from the fixed scroll 3 and the supporting portion 1
properly supported and guided within 0. More preferably, even if a large liquid backlash occurs, the orbiting scroll 4 will be separated from the fixed scroll 3 by a minute amount within the range of the gap δ, so that even the worst case of liquid compression can be sufficiently coped with. can.

In a conventional compressor, the discharge pressure rises rapidly immediately after startup, resulting in an excessive load, whereas in the compressor to which the present invention is applied, a gradual compression mechanism works, as shown in Figure 5. As can be seen from the figure, there is no abnormality in the discharge pressure, and the starting load can be significantly reduced.
