BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION In recent years, as automobiles have become increasingly electronic, their power consumption has been increasing. However, since battery capacity is limited, there is an urgent need to conserve power in each component. Therefore,
More efficient halogen light bulbs have come to be used as light sources in headlights and other devices.

Problem to be Solved by the Invention In order to make white light yellow, it is sufficient to block blue light, but colored glass also absorbs some of the other light, so the brightness of the halogen light bulb is considerably reduced. (Curve in Figure 3)

The temperature of the glass bulb of a halogen bulb is very high, 600℃.
The temperature can reach ~700℃. On the other hand, the heat resistance temperature of colored glass is 30
Because the temperature is only about 0°C, the colored glass must be placed quite far from the halogen bulb, resulting in an extremely large lamp volume. A special fixing structure is required (see Figure 5).

If a metal oxide film consisting of multiple layers that blocks only blue light is formed on the outer surface of a glass bulb by vapor deposition, it is possible to obtain a halogen bulb that emits yellow light and solves the above problems. It is extremely difficult to form a metal oxide film with a constant thickness on the outer surface of a glass bulb having a predetermined shape. Furthermore, the manufacturing cost is high, making it difficult to put it into practical use.

Means for Solving the Problems The method for manufacturing a halogen light bulb of the present invention includes immersing a glass bulb with a filament inside in a solution containing a metal compound, and then pulling the glass bulb out of the solution at a constant speed and drying it.・By repeating the firing process,
A metal oxide film consisting of alternately laminated titanium dioxide films and silicon dioxide films that block only blue light is formed on the outer surface of the glass bulb.

When a working metal compound is thermally decomposed, a film of metal oxide is precipitated,
By repeating this process, multiple layers of metal oxide films are formed on the outer surface of the glass bulb. When different types of films are alternately stacked, light is reflected at each boundary surface, and the light interferes with each other, increasing the reflectance of light of a specific wavelength. By controlling the film thickness, only blue light can be reflected, resulting in the transmitted light being yellow.

On the outer surface of the glass bulb 1, a metal oxide film 2 consisting of a plurality of layers that blocks only blue light and transmits yellow light is formed by a method described later. This metal oxide film is
It is made of an alternating layer of titanium dioxide (hereinafter referred to as T i 02) film 10 and silicon dioxide (hereinafter referred to as 5i (h) film 11), and is applied to the glass bulb 1 after halogen gas has been filled into the glass bulb 1. After coating, a light shielding film 7 is formed on the glass bulb 1, and a cap 8 is attached to complete the process.

The spectral transmittance curve of this metal oxide layer is shown as curve I in FIG. Moreover, FIG. 4 is a spectral radiation curve (curve ■) of a halogen light bulb obtained by the method of the present invention. Curve 2 in the figure shows a spectral radiation curve diagram when such a metal oxide layer is not provided. As can be seen from the figure, the halogen bulb according to the present invention has a lower transmittance for light having a wavelength of 500 nm or less than the conventional bulb due to the light interference effect. As a result,
The short-wavelength light from halogen bulbs, that is, the blue light, is cut out and becomes yellow light.

As described in detail, according to the method of the invention, T i 0
Since the 2 film and 5i02 film are heat resistant, a layer that blocks only blue light can be placed directly on the outer surface of the glass bulb, making it possible to make the halogen light bulb more compact. There is no need to adopt a special structure.Furthermore, the transmittance of such a metal oxide film is higher than that of conventional colored glass, increasing the luminous flux of a halogen bulb by as much as 20%.Furthermore, the materials used are T i02 and 5i(h), so there is no risk of pollution. Moreover, the method of the present invention can easily form a metal oxide film on the outer surface of a glass bulb using a simple device, and is inexpensive. Also, the cost is about 115 compared to the vapor deposition method.
