Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an iridescent face lotion having improved stability of iridescent luster against temperature change and long-term storage by using two or more kinds of higher fatty acid as iridescent luster agent in combination with a nonionic surfactant and a water-soluble polymer. CONSTITUTION:The objective face lotion having iridescent luster stable to temperature change and long-term storage can be produced by compounding (A) two or more kinds of higher fatty acids such as palmitic acid, stearic acid, behenic acid, myristic acid and oleic acid, (B) a nonionic surfactant [preferably higher fatty acid ester of a hydrophilic polyoxyethylene (polymerized in an amount of 20-60mol)] and (C) a water-soluble polymer (e.g., polyvinyl pyrrolidone, sodium alginate, sodium polyacrylate and polyvinyl alcohol) and adjusting the pH of the mixture to 4.5-5.5. The amounts of the components A, B and C are preferably 0.01-0.1wt.%, 0.2-0.5wt.% and 0.03-0.3wt.%, respectively, and the weight ratio of the component B to the component A is 5-10.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Conventionally, Q-le luster has been applied to cosmetics such as cosmetics, cosmetics, hair rinses, and lotions for the purpose of differentiating them in appearance and increasing their commercial value. At this time, No.9
The luster sources used are roughly divided into inorganic substances such as mica and fish scale foil, higher alcohol conductors, higher fatty acids and their gold J/R & salts, esters, amides, etc.

When an inorganic substance is used as a 79-l gloss source, it is relatively expensive, and after use, the fine powder that is the 79-l gloss source remains on the skin, which is contrary to the cosmetic effect of the cosmetic itself. However, it has the disadvantage that it gives the user a poor feeling when using it as a cosmetic product.

On the other hand, when an organic substance such as a higher fatty acid derivative is used as a pearlescent luster source, although the above-mentioned problems when using an inorganic substance are solved, problems arise in terms of stability.

The solubility of the fine crystals of the higher fatty acid derivative used as the e-l gloss source increases as the temperature of the cosmetic containing the fine crystal rises, so that the fine crystal dissolves in the cosmetic. As a result, it was added to cosmetics. The e-mail luster will disappear. Thereafter, when the temperature decreases and the solubility decreases, the microcrystals that are the source of the pearly luster recrystallize, but the original pearly luster cannot be reproduced and agglomerations and hazy insoluble matter occur. - If the product reaches such a state, it will not return to its original state even after shaking or heating, and the product will lose its value. Depending on the season, it may not be possible to prevent temperature rises during the distribution process of cosmetics, which has become a major problem.

Several attempts have been made to solve the stability problem when using such higher fatty acid derivatives as gloss sources. For example, efforts have been made to select higher fatty acids as a source of gloss, and to incorporate substances with stabilizing effects such as various surfactants and aqueous saccharide solutions (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 1983-1999).
No. 149212 and No. 62-226913), but a sufficiently satisfactory effect has not yet been obtained.

Therefore, as a result of various studies in order to solve all of the above problems, the inventors of the present invention found that by using two or more types of higher fatty acids as a 79-l Motozawa source and using a nonionic surfactant and a water-soluble polymer in combination. , stable against temperature changes and long-term storage.
The present invention was completed based on the discovery that it is possible to obtain a lotion with a glossy shine.
