If we take P when l=2000mm as P2000 and P when l=600mm as P600, then P2000=(AF×100)/2000...P600=(AF×100)/600...The above formula is P600-P2000= Solving under the condition that the effective light-receiving length of the detection element B-2 = 10 mm, AF≒85.7 mm. At this time, AF·bF=8570, which satisfies the above relationship.

したがつて、第4図のP0Fは前記式より P0F =P2000−0.5 =(85.7×100)/2000−0.5 =3.785mmとなる。 Therefore, P 0 F in FIG. 4 becomes P 0 F = P2000-0.5 = (85.7x100)/2000-0.5 = 3.785 mm from the above formula.

Similarly, in the detection element 15, if the measurement distance l (= MAX) = 600 mm and the measurement stability is 1%, then Δp = AN・bN/600−AN・bN/606≧40μm From this relational expression, AN・bN≧2424 … If bN = 60mm, P in the formula when l = 600m is P600, and P when l = 200mm is P200, then P600 = (AN × 60) / 600 … P200 = (AN × 60 )/200...P200-P600=effective light receiving length of detection element B-2=
Solving with 10 (mm) gives AN=50mm. At this time
AN・bN=3000, which satisfies the above formula.
Therefore, P 0 N = P600-1 = (50 x 60)/600-1 = 4 mm in Figure 4.
The aperture ratio of is determined by the following relationship. The amount of light incident on the light receiving surfaces of the first semiconductor optical position detection element 15 and the second semiconductor optical position detection element 17 is inversely proportional to the square of the measurement distance, and the apertures of the first and second converging optical systems 14 and 16 are It is proportional to the square of Therefore, the aperture of the first converging optical system 14 is dN, and the aperture of the first converging optical system 16 is
dF, when the following relationship holds, almost the same amount of received light can be obtained in the long-distance measurement system and the short-distance measurement system.

〔(dN/dF)2〕1/2 =〔(600/2000)2〕1/2 したがつて、dN/dF=3/10となる。[(dN/dF) 2 ] 1/2 = [(600/2000) 2 ] 1/2 Therefore, dN/dF = 3/10.
