Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate replacing work and reduce a cost for replacing by a method wherein the part of a rear bend tube, which is damaged seriously, is notched and opened while a liner member is mounted detachably into the notched and opened part. CONSTITUTION:Only a part of the inner curved surface of the outside of a bend tube 1, which is damaged seriously especially by the collision of slag sucked by a sucking device, is notched and opened so as to be tapered so that the diameter thereof is reduced toward the outside of the tube. A liner member 3, formed so as to be capable of being fitted integrally into the notched opening, is fitted into the opening from the inside of the bend tube 1 while a liner supporting member 5, crossing the outer surface of the liner member 3, is bridged on the curved surface of the outside of the bend tube 1. Next, clamping members 6, 6,... such as bolts or the like are clamped into the liner member 3 through a space between the liner supporting member 5 and the liner member 3, then, the liner member 3 is attracted to the liner supporting member 5 strongly to each other by the clamping members 6, 6,... whereby the liner member 3 may be fitted into and mounted to the inside of the notched opening 2 rigidly.

<Prior art and problems to be solved by the invention> Hot metal is injected from a blast furnace into, for example, a torpedo car, and while being transported to a converter factory, Na, CO♂ and Ca are desulfurized in the hot metal.
There is a method of adding a desulfurizing agent such as O.

In this case, a desulfurizing agent such as NaλCO= or CaO reacts with the sulfur component in the hot metal to form slag on the upper surface of the hot metal. Therefore, before transferring the slag to the converter, it must be removed. The device for removing the slag is as shown in Fig. 4, in which water is injected onto the slag a, and the slag is cooled and solidified using a suction pipe. There is a method of removing the slag a by suction using a vacuum pump e.

In this case, the suctioned slag particularly violently collides with the bent portions of the front bend pipe C and the rear bend pipe d, which are arranged after the suction pipe S, and the wear becomes significant, and the bend pipe The device itself has to be replaced, which is very costly both in terms of work and materials. That is, even though it is made of high chromium cast iron or the like in consideration of wear resistance, it is subject to severe wear and tear. Furthermore, even if only that part of high chromium cast iron is repaired by overlay welding, there is a problem in that the base metal tends to crack during underlaying, making it impossible to repair satisfactorily.

<Means for Solving the Problems> The above objects of the present invention can be achieved by the following repair method. That is, the gist of the invention is to provide a notch opening on the outside of the bent part of the bent pipe, which is subject to particularly severe wear and tear due to the collision of slag sucked by a slag suction device, and to make a liner member that is tightly fitted into the notch opening removably attachable. This is a method for repairing a bent pipe of a pot smelting slag suction device, and the outer surface of a liner member is formed so that the inside of the notch opening is tapered outward, and the outer surface of the liner member is closely fitted into the notch opening. and a liner support member installed to horizontally suspend the liner member, and a bend pipe for fixing the Leica member in a replaceable manner by connecting the liner member with a fastening member such as a bolt so as to forcibly connect them to each other. This is a repair method.

<Effects of the Invention> As described above, according to the present invention, only the portions of the front and rear bend pipes that are subject to particularly severe wear are cut out, and the liner member is removably installed in the cutout openings. Conventionally, approximately 12 bent pipes were required per year, but with the present invention, only the liner member is required, and replacement work can be easily performed, significantly reducing the annual replacement cost. In other words, without wasting the bend pipe itself,
By minimizing the number of parts to be replaced, it is possible to use the bent pipe economically and with good replacement work efficiency.
