[Detailed description of the invention] The present invention relates to a two-post lift for vehicle maintenance, and in particular to an improvement of a two-post gate-type lift in which the upper ends of a pair of left and right posts erected in parallel are connected by a cross beam. The purpose is to use a simple configuration,
The total height of the lift can be adjusted according to the ceiling height of the installation location.

Speaking of conventional gate-type lifts, for example, Jitsukaiaki
Like the lift described in Publication No. 56-154991, it is configured to have a connecting member such as a wire or chain that connects the left and right carriages in the cross beam, or a hydraulic pipe that connects the left and right cylinders, Compared to a type of lift in which these connecting members are hung at the bottom of the lift, there is an advantage that there is no need to dig a pit in the floor where the lift is installed or to provide a cover plate for vehicles to ride on. However, if the ceiling of the installation location was low, it was not possible to install a general-purpose lift, so a custom-made lift with a low support column had to be installed, which naturally resulted in a significant increase in manufacturing costs.

The present invention has been improved to meet these demands. The pair of columns that make up the gate shape are divided into upper and lower sections, and the upper column is configured to be rotatable, thereby making it possible to adjust the overall height of the lift. It is something to do. That is, in the present invention, a pair of columns whose upper ends are connected by a cross beam is divided into an upper tilting column and a lower main column at the same height, and the upper tilting column is connected to the lower main column by a vehicle. It is characterized in that it is pivotably mounted so as to be tiltable back and forth in the direction, and further includes a fixing means for fixing the upper tilting column to the lower main column at an arbitrary angle. Regarding the height at which the pair of columns are divided, it goes without saying that both columns should be at the same height, but if you take into account that the carriage will move up and down along the main column, it is preferable to set it above the center of the column. It can be said. Furthermore, the direction in which the upper tilting column is tilted refers to the front or rear of the vehicle entry direction, or both.

FIGS. 3 and 4 show the mechanism of the pivoting part of the tilting strut. Two facing vertical plates 10, 10 are attached to the upper end of the main strut 1b, while the tilting strut 1a The L-shaped connecting plates 11, 11 at the lower end are attached to the inside of the vertical plates 10, 10 with their side surfaces in close contact, and the pivot shaft 1 is inserted into the through hole drilled in both plates.
2, and the tilting support 1a is attached so as to be tiltable toward the rear in the direction in which the vehicle enters. The pivot shaft 1
2 has bottomed holes 12 extending inward from both ends.
a, 12a are bored, and two grooves 12b, 12b are formed approximately in the center of the shaft, and a discharge hole 12 is formed from these grooves toward the bottomed hole.
c, 12c are provided through the plate. A hollow ring 13 is fitted on the outer periphery of the pivot shaft 12, and an oil hole 13a communicating with the groove is provided in the outer periphery of the ring. The hydraulic pipes 5'', 5'' disposed on the tilting struts are connected to the oil holes 13a, 13a, and the hydraulic pipes 5', 5' disposed on the main strut are connected to the bottomed holes 12a, 12a.
A and a are respectively connected to form a hydraulic pipe connection unit.

The two-post gate-type lift for vehicle maintenance configured as described above allows the tilting column to be tilted rearward in the vehicle entry direction by loosening the nut, and by tilting it, the overall height of the lift can be lowered. It is possible. Then, after lowering it to the desired height, tighten and fix it with a nut at that position. Note that the elongated hole through which the bolt is inserted may be replaced with a large number of bolt insertion holes provided on an arcuate trajectory centered on the through hole, but in this case, strong fixation is possible, but The disadvantage is that stepless adjustment is not possible.

In the present invention, the column is divided into a tilting column and a main column, and the tilting column can be tilted in the direction of entry into the vehicle and fixed at any angle, and the total height of the lift can be adjusted. The means for pivoting the tilting support is not limited to the embodiment described above; for example, both carriages may be raised and lowered by a single cylinder via a wire or an erne, or in this embodiment, a pivot shaft may be used. A hydraulic pipe connection unit is incorporated in the pivot joint by forming an oil passage in the pivot joint, but it is also possible to connect the hydraulic pipe with a flexible pipe to separate the pivot joint and the oil passage, or even to separate the hydraulic pipe from the pivot joint. There is no problem in changing the means for fixing both supports in the section.

As described above, according to the present invention, the ceiling of the lift installation location was low and it was necessary to specially order a short lift, but by tilting the machine frame, it can be adapted to the installation location. It can be adjusted to the desired height. Therefore, the delivery time is quick and the cost is the same as that of a general-purpose lift, so the benefits are significant.
