本考案は、目覚し用報知器を備えた目覚し時計
に関するもので、簡単な改良によつて防犯や火災
報知の機能を有せしめ、目覚し時計の汎用性を高

し用報知器５と、赤外線検出器６とが設けられて

の検出が可能でしかもこの検出に伴つて前記目覚
し用報知器を作動させる赤外線検出器を前記２つ
のケースのうちの何れか一方に設け、更に、前記
一方のケースの開き状態において前記赤外線検出
器の受光部を覆う遮光部材を、前記赤外線検出器
を設けてないケース側に設けた点に特徴があり、
かかる構成によつて、目覚し時計本来の目覚し用
報知機能の外に、防犯並びに防災の機能を持たせ
ることができるようになり、本来備えるところの
報知器を有効に利用した簡単な改良によつて目覚

けると共に、前記一方のケースの開き状態におい
て赤外線の検出が可能でしかもこの検出に伴つて
