従来、昭和55年1月31日付、特許庁より発行された
靴の製造に関する周知慣用技術集165.166に掲載
されているように、ラスト(雄金型)の下辺、即ち中底
成形キャビティの下面に開口するゲートから中底成形キ
ャビティを通して、胴部成形キャビティに胴部成形材を
射出充填することによって胴部を成形する長靴の射出成
形法は一般に周知である。しかしながら胴部成形キャビ
ティは、成形される長靴の胴部に対応して、中底部成形
キャビティCや靴底成形キャビティに比較して、形状が
複雑で間隙が狭く、しかもその表面積が大きいため、中
底成形キャビティの下面に開口するゲートから中底成形
キャビティを通して中底成形キャビティCからほぼ垂直
に立ち上がった胴部成形キャビティに胴部成形材を射出
充填した場合、ゲートから遠い位置にある胴部成形キャ
ビティの上端部a、複雑な曲面構造を有する胴部成形キ
ャビティ前方部すにおいて、射出圧が低下され、胴部成
形材の流動性にばらつきが生じ、このようにして成形さ
れた長靴の胴部は、その表面にヒケやフローマーク、欠
けが形成され、その外観が著しく低下される欠点があっ

ておけば、Wi4部射出成形時に胴部成形キャビティ1
の相対向する位置からゲート2.2・・・を通して、胴
部成形材を同時に胴部成形キャビティ1に射出充填でき
るので、ラスト1が胴部成形キャビティ1の上端部のみ
によってサイドモールド11とによって宙吊り状態で胴
部成形キャビティ1に支持されていても、1方向からの
胴部成形材の射出圧によってラスト13が偏位すること
がなく胴部成形キャビティ1の間隙を一定幅に保持でき

ック共重合体等の熱可塑性ゴム等が挙げられる。これら
の樹脂またはゴムは常法によってゲート2を通して胴部
成形キャビティ1に射出充填される胴部3が成形される
ものであるが胴部3成形に先立ってボトムモールド12
表面に予め接地底4を成形しておけば胴部3成形時に胴
部3を接地底4に一体的に溶着成形できるので便利であ

胴部成形材の流動性にばらつきが生じることなく、成形
される長靴の胴部表面に従来のように、ヒケやフローマ
ークや欠けが生じることがなく、外観の良好な胴部を有
