On the other hand, most of the cellulases derived from bacteria are neutral or acidic cellulases, and there are only a few examples of production of alkaline cellulases, such as culturing bacteria belonging to the alkalophilic Bacillus group and producing cellulase A from the medium. Method (Japanese Patent Publication No. 50-28515), alkaline cellulase 301-A was obtained by culturing bacteria belonging to Cellulomonas.
