Bonding and/or reinforcing veneers is a fairly common practice, without mentioning any specific examples. Also, for example, ``Method of joining green veneers with thread'' in JP-A-51-151311, JP-A-54-89003.
"Joining veneer and its joining method and device" in Japanese Patent Publication No. 55-63202, "Threading cutlery" in Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 55-23640 (Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 56-118804)
As disclosed in "Veneer veneer" etc., a cut groove is formed on the surface of the veneer, and an adhesive thread or an adhesive and a thread are embedded in the cut groove to join the veneer and/or Reinforcement has also been attempted, but in either case, when the treated veneer is rolled up and made into a rolled ball, the adhesive or bonding agent of the adhesive thread is used to strengthen the layered veneer. Both the front and back surfaces were adhered in places, causing a so-called blocking phenomenon, which often caused problems in unwinding the wound veneer.

As shown in ``Method for winding veneer veneer'' in Publication No. 164105, a new attempt has been made to solve this problem by varying the size of the bonded portion of the adhesive on both the front and back veneers. Although this method can be carried out on band-shaped veneers without cracks, it is not effective at all on veneers with cracks or groups of fixed-length veneers made up of small-width veneers. In other words, in the latter case, the size of the bonded portion of the adhesive material will be the same on both the front and back surfaces, which will still cause the same state as the conventional blocking phenomenon.

Publication No. 137102)) was submitted. In other words, the content of the application is as follows: ``When unwinding a spool of veneer that has been wound together with a plurality of wire rods, one side near the separation position between the spool and the veneer being unwound from the spool. On the veneer side where the trimming of the lumber is being rewound,
The invention also relates to a method for unwinding a spool of veneer, which is characterized by unwinding the veneer with the other wire positioned on the side of the spool. With such a configuration, the blocked veneer can be easily peeled off and the veneer can be unwound. This was done to facilitate the return process. Although this unwinding method is somewhat effective compared to the conventional means described above, it is still not perfect. If a local bending force acts on the veneer and the veneer is damaged, or if at least one of the wire rods is a wire rod that can be bonded to the veneer, the adhesion of the bondable wire rod may occur due to peeling. There is an inherent risk that the force will be reduced.

This method has two main components: shifting the wire rod along the board surface to eliminate the blocking state, and by implementing these steps, it is possible to process the veneer extremely smoothly and stably. It is.

When winding up, or as illustrated in FIG. The wire rod 3 is wound together with the veneer 1, and the wire rod 3 is interposed between the surfaces of the wound veneer.

A, 1b, 1c, ... 1α are packed together like a band-shaped veneer 1' to be wound through both the uncured adhesive thread 8 and the wire 3. The joining of each narrow veneer is achieved for the first time. There are two ways of unwinding the rolled ball, as shown in FIG. 4B and FIG. A desired method of unwinding can be selected depending on the positional relationship between the wire rods 3 when they are shifted.

However, there are no special restrictions on the feeding direction or feeding location of the wire rod, but if the wire rod 3 is fed so that it touches the entire outer circumference of the wound ball as shown in Fig. 1 can be accurately guided. The veneers wound here are, of course, not limited to continuous veneers, but may be small width veneers interleaved or not interleaved but arranged continuously in close or nearly close contact. For example, ``Method and apparatus for reeling veneer'' in Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 52-12908, and ``Method and method for processing veneers for intermediate plates'' in Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 52-31809. "That device" and Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 1983-
As disclosed in ``Automatic winding device for veneer veneer winding machine'' of Publication No. 49205, winding is performed as a group of narrow veneers. In this case as well, the wire rod 3
It does not matter whether the adhesive thread 8 is placed on either the front or back side of the veneer 1' to be wound, but as long as it is supplied so that at least one side is in contact with the outer periphery of the winding ball, an auxiliary member for winding can be used. It's not necessary and convenient. (See Figures 4 and 5).

Also, the term "joining and/or reinforcing" here means,
This is intended to include both cases in which bonding or reinforcement is performed independently, and cases in which bonding and reinforcement are performed together, and is not limited to the illustrated embodiments. Also, the aspects of these joining and reinforcing are not limited to the illustrated embodiments as described above.
For example, it also includes a mode in which an adhesive is attached to the butt end surface for reinforcement. Therefore, there are cases where only one end side is intensively reinforced, and in that case both the adhesive and the wire will be biased to one side.

There are no particular restrictions on the number of wires, their intervening positions, directions, etc., but as shown in Figures 1 and 3,
When the adhesive threads 2, 6, and 8 are attached to both ends of the veneer 1 as shown in Figures 4 and 5, they are It is preferable to interpose the adhesive thread in parallel with the adhesive thread in order to carry out the shifting step described later.

The wire rod 3 is used to intersect with an adhesive material such as an adhesive thread or an adhesive to eliminate the blocking state caused by the adhesive material, so the shifting means may be within the range that can eliminate the blocking state. Any selection is possible. However, normally, as typified by Figure 1 (B), the wound veneer is unwound and simultaneously pulled outward, or before the unwinding process is performed, as shown in Figure 2 (B), only the end surface of the wire 3 is removed. In some cases, the wire rods may be moved back and forth.

である。 Regarding the process of unwinding the rolled veneer,
Basically, this can be easily done manually, but if the end of the veneer is pulled and unwound, there is a risk that the veneer itself will break, so it is preferable to pull a wire rod as an auxiliary method. Of course, it is also possible to mechanically unwind the ball by bringing the outer peripheral belt into contact with the ball, or to automatically rewind the entire surface by pulling the wire with a collection reel.

Rewinding is also extremely easy. Furthermore, it is possible to eliminate the various steps that have traditionally been taken to prevent blocking, such as providing a cooling period for the veneer immediately after drying, or a curing period for the attached adhesive. It is possible to speed up the processing process and improve productivity accordingly. In addition, as described above, the amount of use of auxiliary materials such as curing accelerators, release papers, mold release agents, etc., which were conventionally used to prevent blocking, can be reduced or eliminated, leading to savings in bonding and reinforcement costs. This makes it possible to rationalize the joining and/or reinforcing process of the veneers as a whole.

がある。 As is clear from the embodiment shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, by shifting the wire 3 on either the inside or outside of the adhesive thread 8, the above-mentioned pattern can be applied to the desired side of the board surface. Since the adhesive thread 8 can be removed while being attached, the practical value of this embodiment is even higher.
