Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an air flow rate required for cooling a thyristor at a main part and an air flow rate required for transferring dust through a pipe at a central cleaner as well even at a low air flow rate by interlocking an input controlling slide volume on a hose grip and an air leaking unit. CONSTITUTION:A slide switch 2 is attached free to slide on a hose-end pipe 1 of a vacuum cleaner, and notch indicating plate 3 of suction force is provided beside the slide switch 2, on which 'high', 'medium', 'low' and 'off' are indicated. A small hole 4 is furnished on the slide switch 2 and also a small hole 5 on the hose-end pipe 1. When the slide switch 2 is slid, the resistance value of a slide volume 8 is changed, and the air flow rate at a main body is changed with changes in the input to an electric fan, however, the small hole 4 on the slide switch 2 laps over the small hole 5 on the hose-end pipe 1 at a notch position between 'medium' and 'low', allowing air to leak in, so that the air flow rate at the suction port becomes lower than that at the main body and is suitable for cleaning curtains, cushions, etc.

Conventional technology Conventionally, in vacuum cleaners, the suction force was adjusted according to the type of surface to be cleaned by switching the air into the hose, or by setting a slide volume at the hose to control the input of the electric blower. Various methods have been devised and implemented.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, with the means of switching the ventilation air, when cleaning curtains, cranes, etc., the electric blower is operated with a constant input, so it not only consumes unnecessary power but also generates carbon. There was a problem that the plan had a lot of wear and tear, which shortened its lifespan.

On the other hand, in the method of controlling the input of an electric blower, it is necessary to cool the thyristor for input control with sucked air, but there is a risk that the thyristor will overheat due to insufficient air volume at low input.

However, if you control the input of an electric blower using a so-called central cleaner that connects the main unit and the hose outlet with piping, when the input is low, that is, when the air volume is low, the air velocity to convey dust in the piping will be insufficient, and the piping will become clogged with dust. There was also the problem.

Function The vacuum cleaner of the present invention has the above-mentioned configuration, even when the slide volume for shim force control is set to a low input, the air venting device is used to cool the thyristor, and in the case of a central cleaner, the dust transport inside the piping is carried out. This makes it possible to obtain the necessary air volume.

FIG. 3 is a graph of the 20 slide switch notches and the air volume, where the straight line indicates the air volume of the main body, and the straight line B indicates the air volume of the suction port. That is, when the slide switch 2 is slid, the resistance value of the slide volume 8 changes, and as the input of the electric blower changes, the air volume of the main unit changes as shown by the straight line in Figure 3. 1st among
The small hole 4 of the slide switch 2 shown in the figure overlaps the small hole 5 of the hose end pipe 1, and the air flow is prevented, and the air volume at the suction port is smaller than the main body air volume, as shown by straight line B, and the curtain, cushion, etc. It will be suitable for etc.

Next, FIG. 4 is a graph of the air volume when a switch is provided in addition to the slide volume 8 and the power is turned off between medium and low. Considering that some noise is made when introducing air when leaking, we have separated the low, which is rarely used, from the medium to high, which is often used, and when using the medium to high, the leaking sound is generated. It is something that I have stopped doing.

Figure 6 shows the direction of the two slide volumes reversed, and the input and air volume are gradually increased when setting the notch from off to medium to strong, and when setting it from off to weak. This prevents the electric blower from suddenly starting up.

Figure 7 is equipped with a fixed resistance in addition to the slide volume,
This is a graph of the air volume in an example in which the slide switch and air ventilation mechanism are linked when setting to fixed resistance in addition to switching with a changeover switch. In the case of a weak notch, the main body air volume is constant at a small air volume. However, at the suction port, the amount of air is reduced by the amount of leaking air.

Effects of the Invention As mentioned above, the vacuum cleaner of the present invention links the slide volume at the hose end for input control with the air ventilation mechanism, so it can be used even when a low air volume is required at the suction port. In the main body, the necessary air volume is obtained by cooling the thyristor. Furthermore, there is no wastage of electricity unlike in the case of a suction force adjustment means using only flushed air, and a long-life vacuum cleaner with less wear on the carbon plan can be obtained.

Furthermore, if you provide an off position between medium and low, you can use it at medium to high, which is often used.
Since no mechanism is used, there is no leaking sound.

Also, if you use two slide volumes to differentiate between strong, medium and weak notches, and have only the weak notches work in conjunction with the air venting mechanism, the switch will become a nuisance.

Furthermore, if the resistance value of both slide volumes becomes smaller as it moves from off, sudden startup can be avoided whether it is medium to strong or weak, so the rotation mechanism of the electric blower at startup can be improved. Since it does not require excessive strength, a soft material can be used as the vibration prevention material, making it possible to reduce noise.

Furthermore, if one of the two slide volumes is replaced with a fixed resistance when the notch is at a low level, and the notch is used in combination with a leakage mechanism, the air volume can be adjusted at a low level.

Furthermore, if the above configuration is used in a central cleaner in which the main body and the hose insertion port are connected by piping and wiring, the amount of air necessary for transporting dirt in the piping can always be obtained.
