Socks and shoes are widely used today as indispensable foot orthotics, but when running or exercising, the feet sweat, making the wearer's feet stuffy, making them uncomfortable and making them feel tired. This is well known. For this reason, breathable materials are sometimes used in parts of the uppers that form shoes, but mere breathable materials allow rainwater to pass through and greatly reduce the protection and covering effect of shoes on the feet. be done.
By the way, the present applicant has conducted detailed research and development on stretched porous fluororesin films such as stretched porous tetrafluoroethylene resin films, and has improved the porosity as disclosed in, for example, Japanese Patent Publication No. 18891/1983. 50 to 95%, and countless fibers are formed in a spider web shape between numerous micronodules, and we have developed a film that accurately blocks the permeation of liquid water, even though it allows vaporized water to pass through freely. This product effectively eliminates vaporized moisture from the tired skin during sweating, completely prevents liquid moisture from entering from the outside, and has a fibrillar structure that is stretched to make it porous, giving it desirable strength. It is being widely used in various types of clothing, and if it is used in socks and shoes, it will have desirable strength and be pleasant to use. However, it is well known that socks have a certain degree of elasticity and must be knitted using the circular knitting method in order to be mass-produced and commercialized. This is difficult to obtain with a material made of a transparent fluororesin film, and the same is true when it is obtained with other waterproof and moisture-permeable fabrics.

The present invention was devised after repeated studies in view of the above-mentioned circumstances, and one of its specific embodiments is shown in the attached drawings. The present invention proposes a foot orthosis made of a film, as shown in FIG. , the first piece of cloth 1 has protrusions 11 on both sides to respond quickly to the protrusion of the heel, and has inclined edges 12, 12 on one side thereof to respond quickly to the boundary with the instep. On the other hand, the second cloth piece 2 is symmetrically formed with inclined edges 22, 22 to be connected to the inclined edges 12, 12 continuous with the circular part 21 to be covered on the back of the heel part, and to form the sole of the foot. In addition, inclined joining edges 23, 23 are formed from the ends of the inclined edges 22, 22 toward the toe part 24 for joining each other on the instep, so as to cover the lower part of the ankle.
A notch 25 is provided in the toe portion 24 to quickly adapt to the shape of the toe, and the stretched porous film obtained by stretching in a plane is used to appropriately form a three-dimensional foot accommodation brace. It was made so that it could be done.

Regarding the first and second cloth pieces 1 and 2 described above, a reinforcing cloth piece 9 such as a general woven fabric is attached to at least one side of the stretched porous tetrafluoroethylene resin film 8, as shown in FIG. In some cases, the film 8 is sandwiched between a protective cloth or a heat-retaining cloth 7 in the form of a sandwich as shown in FIG. That is, since the porosity of the film 8 is at least 50%, it has effective air permeability and also has appropriate strength when fibrillated by stretching, but since it is a thin layer material of several tens of micrometers, As described above, even when joined to the cloth pieces 7 and 9, the above-mentioned properties are not impaired, and the material for the foot orthosis can be processed appropriately. Further, as shown in FIG. 5, an adhesive tape 10 is attached to the seam-sewn portion between the slanted edges as described above. Such an adhesive tape is preferably of the same quality as the above-mentioned stretched porous film 8, but since it is only partial, it may be a simple adhesive tape that does not allow vaporized moisture to pass therethrough.

Although the illustrated embodiment described above uses a stretched porous tetrafluoroethylene resin film, the invention according to the present invention can be similarly implemented using other waterproof and moisture-permeable fabrics. is clear. That is, such waterproof and moisture permeable fabrics include the above-mentioned fabrics, laminate fabrics of non-hydrophilic porous films other than stretched porous tetrafluoroethylene resin films, and coating fabrics with non-hydrophilic porous layers (for example, non-hydrophilic polyethylene films). fabrics coated with acrylic resin, etc.), laminate fabrics with water vapor permeable non-porous films (e.g. laminate fabrics with non-porous films made of hydrophilic polyurethane resin or hydrophilic fluororesin), fabrics coated with water vapor permeable non-porous layers. (For example, a fabric coated with a porous layer made of a hydrophilic polyurethane resin or a hydrophilic fluororesin). That is, by using such a laminated cloth or coating cloth, the porous structure of the stretched porous tetrafluoroethylene resin film prevents contaminants such as body fat, detergent, and alcohol from adhering to it, and ensures its waterproof properties. . Further, if these waterproof and moisture permeable fabrics are used, they are even more preferable.

According to the present invention as described above, a flat cloth piece using a stretched porous tetrafluoroethylene resin film obtained in the form of a flat sheet is used, and this is used as a first cloth piece that covers the upper part from the heel part. A second piece of cloth that covers the sole of the foot is prepared and sewn together to form a three-dimensional foot orthosis such as socks or shoes. Moreover, it is preferable that strength characteristics are achieved by attaching reinforcing cloth pieces to the film, and by bonding an adhesive tape to the joint part, the film has both waterproofness and vaporized moisture permeability over the entire area. It is possible to provide a durable and comfortable orthosis, in other words, the vaporized water generated around the foot is always effectively drained out of the orthosis, and the water that has been drained and liquefied is returned to the area around the foot. The wearer always feels refreshed as the fibers do not penetrate into the material, and the fibrillation that is inevitable due to the stretched porosity provides favorable strength in thin-layered materials, and together with the reinforcing fabric strips, it increases durability. It is a device that has great practical effects because it can effectively overcome the disadvantages and drawbacks of conventional orthoses of this type.

In addition, in the embodiment of the present invention described above, the first cloth piece 1 covering the upper part of the heel part
The second cloth piece 2 that covers the sole of the foot is sufficient, and there is no need for a large number of cut pieces or particularly complicated cuts, so the fabrication of the orthosis consists of cutting and sewing processes. It is extremely easy to use, and the amount of cutting waste etc. generated is reduced, making it possible to efficiently obtain the desired product. Moreover, the joint or seam is formed at the boundary between the heel, instep and ankle. To the extent that
The amount (length) is small, and there are no such joints or sutures at all, especially in or around the soles of the feet, so there is no discomfort to the feet due to weight when walking while wearing them. In other words, they can be worn under exactly the same comfortable conditions as conventional knitted socks, and as mentioned above, they are waterproof and breathable, so they are extremely comfortable. be.
