Candles were originally used as a light source for illumination and were one of the everyday tools. However, candles are no longer used as a light source for such lighting.
It is used primarily as a light for Buddhist altars and as a prop for parties. This is because the light from candles is much weaker than electric light such as fluorescent lamps and incandescent lamps, making it unsuitable as a light source for lighting. On the other hand, since the light of a candle is weak, there is almost no change in the brightness of the room when it is lit, and it does not dazzle the eyes, and the candle itself has a certain charm that attracts people's hearts. As mentioned above, they are used as party props because they have a different decorative effect than small electric lights or simple ornaments.

For this reason, candles have traditionally been decorated with spiral patterns or colored to enhance their decorative effect. However, the value of a candle lies not only in the candle itself, but in the way it is lit. Therefore, even if the candles were colored, if the flame remained the same, the decorative effect would not necessarily be satisfactory.

The present invention was made in view of the above points, and includes a reflector at the base of the candle to reflect the light irradiated to the base of the candle, thereby making the part of the base shine. At the same time, it also changes the light of the candle itself, further enhancing the decorative effect of the candle.

The figure shows the candle in a lit state, where 1 is the wax body, 2 is the wick, and 3 is the flame. This candle itself is no different from a normal one, and the upper surface of the wax body 1 is melted by the heat emitted from the flame 3 and deformed into a shallow dish shape, forming a depression 4 in which the molten material is placed. 5 of wax is accumulated, and this rises through the wick 2, causing it to burn. Reference numeral 6 is a reflector. This item reflects the light irradiated to the lamp source, giving it a shine, and also adds the reflected light to the light of flame 3 to change it, so it has an appropriate reflectance. At the same time, it is desirable that the material diffusely reflect the irradiated light, and it also needs to have a melting point at least higher than that of wax. Therefore, this material uses aluminum foil, glass beads, etc. that have an uneven pattern on the surface.
Furthermore, depending on the shape and coloring pattern of the wax body 1, one that has been appropriately colored may be used. There is no particular limitation on the shape of the reflector 6; in short, it is sufficient as long as it reflects the light emitted from the flame 3 during lighting, but if it is small, Since there is a possibility that the wax may flow in the wax 5 and collect in one place, it is desirable to form it in a ring shape. and a method in which the reflector 6 is formed smaller than the diameter of the wax body 1 as shown in FIG.
As shown in FIG. 2, there is a method of forming the wax body into a cap shape having approximately the same diameter as the wax body 1. The former reflector 6 is in the recess 4 during use, so its presence or absence cannot be seen from the side, and it appears unexpectedly only when viewed from above or when the candle is tilted. On the other hand, the latter reflector 6 is
There are no surprises as you can always tell if the candle is being used or not, but it also serves as a decoration for the candle, especially since it prevents melted wax from spilling out when the candle is tilted, so it can be placed on a table at a party, for example. This is useful when carrying out light relays, etc.

By the way, regarding the method of attaching the reflector 6 to the candle, it can be formed integrally with the wax body 1 when manufacturing the candle, or it can be formed separately from the candle and attached to it when lighting the candle. There is a way to
The effect is the same no matter which method you use, but
When it is formed integrally with the wax body 1 in advance,
It is not necessarily necessary to attach this to the top surface of the wax body 1, but it is preferable to embed it a little lower than that. That is, by doing this, there is no risk of the reflector 6 falling off, and in particular, since wax is opaque in its normal solidified state and becomes transparent when melted, the reflector 6 can be as close to transparent as glass beads. With things, the unexpectedness that only emerges after the candle is lit.

そして反射体6は、蝋燭に点火して蝋体1が次

When the candle is lit and the wax body 1 gradually shortens, the reflector 6 always remains within the recess 4 and descends with the recess 4, so it maintains a constant position with respect to the flame 3, and therefore maintains a constant position. It has a reflective effect.

As detailed above, the present invention attaches a reflector to the base of the candle to reflect the light that is irradiated to this part, and as a result, the candle has a shine at the base, and also Its brightness changes as the flame moves, further enhancing the decorative effect of the candle.
