[Technical Field] The present invention relates to a fast idle device for an internal combustion engine, and more specifically, to various electrical devices such as a headlamp mounted on a vehicle, an electric fan for cooling a radiator, a defogger, a blower, and an electric fan for cooling a cooler condenser. The present invention relates to a first idle device that responds to a load on a vehicle-mounted electrical device (hereinafter referred to as a vehicle-mounted electrical device) by increasing the idling opening of a throttle valve in response to the load on the vehicle-mounted electrical device to increase the engine's idle speed. [Prior Art] In-vehicle electrical devices are driven by a battery mounted on the vehicle, and while the engine is in operation, the engine drives an alternator to charge the battery.
If the power consumed by the electrical device increases, the idle speed of the engine must be increased to increase the amount of charge at idle. The conventional fast idle device of the above type has one end fixed to a diaphragm defining a negative pressure chamber, and the other end fixed to an internal combustion engine to increase the throttle valve idle opening in response to an increase in the negative pressure in the negative pressure chamber. a negative pressure actuator with an output rod linked to a throttle valve; a load determination circuit that determines the operation of an on-vehicle electrical device and outputs a signal when the on-vehicle electrical device is activated; a negative pressure control valve that controls negative pressure introduced into the negative pressure chamber of the actuator; and a negative pressure control valve that controls the negative pressure introduced into the negative pressure chamber of the actuator; and a drive circuit that introduces negative pressure. However, in this type of device, the first idle opening is constant regardless of power consumption, and even when a single electrical device is used as a load, the idle speed increases by a constant value. There is. Therefore, if the first idle rotation speed is set according to a plurality of loads, the rotation speed will be too high when a single load is used, which is disadvantageous in terms of fuel consumption rate and noise. [Purpose of the invention] An object of the invention is to provide a first idle device that can increase the idle rotation speed to different values depending on the power consumption of the on-vehicle electrical device. [Structure of the invention] The present invention provides the load-responsive fast-idling device for on-vehicle electrical equipment of the type described above, in which the load discrimination circuit detects a generated current value of an alternator driven by the engine and a current value of a field winding. a first comparator and a second comparator that compare both of the two with preset constant values, and output signals to the first output port and the second output port, respectively, when the constant values are exceeded. When a signal is output from only the first output port, the drive circuit changes the idle opening of the throttle valve to a first idle opening by the negative pressure control valve and the negative pressure actuator. However, when a signal is output from the second output port, the idle opening of the throttle valve is increased to a second fast idle opening that is larger than the first fast idle opening. This is a summary of what was done. Therefore, when some of the on-vehicle electrical devices are activated, the generated current value of the alternator exceeds a certain value and a signal is output to the first output port, so the idle opening of the throttle valve becomes The idle rotation speed of the engine is increased by 1 first idle opening degree, and the engine idle rotation speed increases to the first first idle rotation speed. The first fast idle rotation speed may be set to a relatively small value such that the increase in the amount of power generated by the alternator is sufficient to cover the power consumed by a part of the on-vehicle electrical device. Next, when a large number of on-vehicle electrical devices are used at the same time, or when a single device that consumes a large amount of power is used, the current value in the field winding of the alternator may exceed a certain value, causing the current to flow to the second output port. Since the signal is output, the idle opening of the throttle valve is increased to a second fast idle opening that is larger than the first fast idle opening, and the idle rotation speed is increased to a second fast idle opening that is larger than the first fast idle rotation. The first idle rotation speed is increased. The second fast idle rotation speed may be set to a value sufficiently large that the increase in the amount of power generated by the alternator can cover the large amount of power consumption that has increased at that time. With this configuration, while the increase in power consumption is relatively small, the first idle rotation speed is kept to a relatively small value, improving fuel consumption and suppressing noise to a low level. When the increase in power consumption becomes large, it becomes possible to immediately sufficiently increase the amount of power generation to cope with the increase. Details and other features of the invention will become clearer as the embodiments are described below with reference to the drawings. [Example] Before describing the embodiment of the present invention (FIG. 1), a reference example shown in FIG. 2 will be described. This reference example has common components with the embodiment of the present invention, and generally has the same effects. In FIG. 2, a first negative pressure chamber 1 is formed in the housing 12 of the tandem negative pressure actuator 10 by first and second diaphragms 14a and 14b.
6a and a second negative pressure chamber 16b are formed. The negative pressure port of each negative pressure chamber is connected to the first negative pressure pipe 18a and the second negative pressure pipe 18a.
connected to a first negative pressure control valve 20a and a second negative pressure control valve 20b, respectively, by a negative pressure pipe 18b;
Each negative pressure control valve 20a, 20b is selectively connected to either an intake manifold (not shown) or the atmosphere depending on the valve position. spring 22
The first diaphragm 14 is biased to the right in the figure at a.
A first output rod 24a is attached to a. 1st
The displacement of the output rod 24a is transmitted to the abutment rod 28 via the rotation link 26, and the throttle valve is transferred via the abutment lever 36 fixed to the throttle shaft 34 of the throttle valve 32 of the throttle body 30. The idle opening degree of 32 can be changed. The second
A second output rod 24b is attached to the diaphragm 14b. This second output rod 24b acts as a stopper for the first diaphragm 14a, as will be described later. The first and second negative pressure control valves 20a and 20b are respectively driven by a first drive circuit 44a and a second drive circuit 44b connected to the first output port 42a and the second output port 42b of the load discrimination circuit 40, respectively. be done. As shown within the dashed line frame in FIG. 2, the load discrimination circuit 40 includes a first OR circuit 46a and a second OR circuit 46b, and the input port of the first OR circuit 46a is connected to an in-vehicle device such as a headlamp, air conditioner, defogger, etc. Each of the load sensors 48a to 48d is connected to detect the operation of the electrical device. No.
The input ports of the 2OR circuit are AND circuits 50a to 50
are connected to the output ports of f, and each AND
The input ports of circuits 50a-50f are connected to each load sensor 48a-48d as shown. Next, the operation of the reference example will be explained. Each load sensor 48a-48d generates a high level signal when each electrical device is in use. This signal is input to the load determination circuit 40. In this load discrimination circuit, when a single electrical load is used, the output of the first output port 42a becomes high level, and when there is a plurality of electrical loads used, the output of the second output port 42b becomes high level. When using a single load, the first drive circuit 44a is activated by a high level signal from the first output port 42a, and the first negative pressure control valve 20a is activated by the first negative pressure pipe 1.
8a is connected to the intake manifold, intake negative pressure is introduced into the first negative pressure chamber 16a. Therefore, the first output rod 24a moves to the left in the figure until it collides with the second output rod 24b, increasing the idle opening of the throttle valve 32 to the first fast idle opening and increasing the engine idle rotation. number first
Increase to first idle speed. When multiple loads are used, the second output port 42b also becomes high level, so the second drive circuit 4
4b also works. Therefore, the second negative pressure control valve 20
b connects the second negative pressure pipe 18b to the intake manifold to introduce negative pressure into the second negative pressure chamber 16b. As a result, the second output rod 24b, which was regulating the first output rod 24a, moves to the left, so the amount of leftward displacement of the first output rod 24a also increases, and the idle opening of the throttle valve 32 further increases. The second first idle opening degree is increased to a large second value, and the idle speed of the engine is increased to a higher second set value. In this way, the idle speed is switched depending on whether the load is single or multiple.
The alternator power generation amount can be obtained depending on each case. FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of the present invention, which corresponds to a modified version of the load discrimination circuit 40 in the reference example of FIG. In this embodiment, alternator 7
The purpose is to output a high level signal to the first output port 42a or the second output port 42b depending on the value of the generated current of 0 and the value of the current flowing through the field winding. This load discrimination circuit is connected to a first current-voltage converter 72 disposed in an output line 71 of an alternator 70.
a or a second current-voltage converter 72b disposed in the field winding of the alternator 70;
It consists of first and second comparators 74a and 74b. The output line 71 is connected to a battery and an on-vehicle electrical device. Each converter 72a, 72b is connected to the generated current value of the alternator 70 and the field winding 76.
Converts the value of current flowing through the circuit into a voltage corresponding to the amount of current. In the figure, 78 is an ignition switch, 80 is a charge lamp, and 82 is a power generation control transistor. The outputs of comparators 74a and 74b are sent to converter 72.
Depending on the voltage level of a and 72b, it switches between high level (Hi) and low level (Lo) as shown in the following table.

This invention detects both the current value generated by the alternator and the current value of the field winding in an on-vehicle electrical load-responsive fast idle device that increases the idle speed according to the load of the on-board electrical device. , a relatively small increase in load is determined by an increase in the generated current value, and a large increase in load is determined by an increase in the current value of the field winding in addition to that. There is an advantage that the load state of the middle 2nd stage can be detected accurately. In particular, the current in the field winding is an index value of the alternator's power generation capacity, so it is possible to immediately determine whether the value is approaching the limit, that is, the limit of the alternator's power generation capacity. When the capacity margin becomes small, it is necessary to respond by increasing the idle speed, so it is a good idea to monitor the current value of the field winding. If the determination is made based only on the generated current, it is not possible to determine to what extent the alternator's power generating capacity is being utilized, and therefore the idle speed may be increased when there is sufficient capacity. According to this invention,
When electricity consumption is high and there is no margin in the alternator's power generation capacity, it becomes possible to take appropriate measures such as increasing the idle speed. As a result, according to the present invention, when the increase in load is relatively small, the rise in the first idle rotation speed is kept relatively low, and when the load increases significantly, the first idle rotation speed is sufficiently increased. Since the necessary amount of power generation can be secured by increasing the engine speed, the idle speed can be kept low overall, improving the fuel consumption rate and reducing noise.
