速に搬出することができる運搬装置を提供するこ

従来、この様な棚間隔が狭く、格納物同志及び

納物を出入れするためには把持アーム、持上フオ
ーク等の手段の伸縮・旋回・挿入空間を充分確保
できず、しかも奥行が深いため格納物移送機構が
長尺になりがちで難しいとされてきた。又、格納
物を多数個列設した棚の側面から出入れする方法
も考えられるが、この方法であれば、棚の左右側
面に運搬装置、スタツカクレーンの移動空間を設
けねばならず、棚空間が小さくなり、しかも設備
費が高くつくという問題点がある。これらの問題
を解決する装置としては特開昭52―116577号公報
で開示された樽状物ハンドリングシステムが知ら
れている。同ハンドリングシステムは支持レール
上を車輪で走行する走行台車の前面に長く水平に
延びた転動装置支持具を設け、その先端下部に起
伏自在なアームを介してローラを取り付け、同ロ
ーラを介して樽を押すことによつて樽状物を転動
させながら移動させようとするものである。この
装置ではローラは起伏するが強制的に回転駆動さ
せられるものでなく、ローラの押圧力で樽を推進
させ、それに伴つて発生する樽との摩擦を少なく
するためローラを回転自在(フリー)とするもの
である。その為ローラで重たい樽を転がすとき走
行台車はローラを介してかなりの反力を受ける結
果となり、その反力のため走行台車の移動に大き
な推進力が必要となり、又走行台車が支持レール
上をスリツプして確実に押しすすめることができ
ないという問題点があつた。本発明はこれらの問
題点を解決したものである。

ことを特徴とする筒状、樽状の転動物の運搬装置

転がして円滑且つ迅速に運搬でき、しかも本発明
運搬装置は棚の狭い間口から出入りして搬出入作
業するものであるから、棚を立体的に連続配置し
ても本発明装置を使用すれば運搬装置の専用空間
を設けずとも棚空間を利用して格納物の搬出入が
行え、棚空間占有率の高い間口の狭い連続立体配
置の棚庫を利用できるという優れた効果を得るこ
とができる。又、強制駆動させる可動ローラとこ
れと共役してはさむ回転自在なフリーローラとが
筒状、樽状の転動物と接触状態を保ちながら、転
動物を回転させて移動させるものであるから、共
役の可動ローラとフリーローラとを介して作用す
る水平分力は互いに相殺し、可動ローラによる純
粋な回転力(モーメント)のみの成分が主に残つ
て樽を転がすものであり、大きな推進力なくして
走行でき、走行台車の車輪がスリツプすることが
なく小さな推進力で確実に転動物を移動させるこ
とが出来る。
