The first holding means holds the cloth and presses the lower outer fabric, and the second holding means holds the upper outer fabric when the first holding means is held and the presser operation is released. The first holding means includes a cloth contacting part located near the sewing needle, a lifting means for vertically moving the cloth contacting part, and a swinging means for swinging the cloth contacting part in a direction intersecting an edge of the upper outer fabric. The second holding means includes a cloth hook part located at an appropriate distance from the cloth contact part through the sewing needle, and the cloth hook moves the part in the vertical direction and moves the cloth hook part in the vertical direction. The above-mentioned conventional problems are solved by providing means for moving the cloth hook in a direction intersecting the edge of the upper cloth.

A first side portion where the outer fabric and the fastener overlap is sewn, and the heavy contact portion of the first holding means releases the holding operation of the upper outer fabric edge before the end of the first side portion, while the second The cloth hook part of the holding means operates to engage and hold the upper outer fabric edge, and the sewing needle is moved to the lower side at a position away from the upper outer fabric edge at the final stitch of the first side part. A final needle drop is made at the overlapping part of the outer fabric and the zipper, and a stitch is formed continuously from this final needle drop point on the lower side to stitch the zipper, lower outer fabric, and upper outer fabric. The second suture is connected to the suture on the lower side.
The zipper is sewn by forming seams on the sides and sewing the upper outer fabric and the zipper together.

The lifting cylinder Pv fixed to the cloth contacting part P is rotated counterclockwise around the pivot point Pp of the mounting plate PL (Fig. 2), and in this state, the advancing/retracting rod of the lifting cylinder Pν moves forward. Then, the heavy contact portion P descends and brings the presser foot PP into contact with the upper surface of the lower outer fabric A2 outside the edge of the upper outer fabric AI. (3rd
(Figure) Next, the reciprocating rod of the swing cylinder Ps moves forward, and the heavy contact portion P moves clockwise around the pivot point Pp of the mounting plate PL while its presser foot Pp contacts the upper surface of the lower outer fabric A2. It rotates to turn up the upper outer fabric AI and press down the lower outer fabric A2. (Fig. 4) Next, the moving table 3 moves in the direction of the arrow Y to remove the lower outer fabric A.

This stitch end point C is the final part of the open portion of the upper surface fabric A1 and the lower surface cloth A2, the so-called opening stop portion, and the heavy contact portion P preceding the sewing needle N engages with this opening stop portion. In order to avoid this, it is necessary to release the engagement between the heavy contact portion P and the upper surface cloth A1.

With the upper outer fabric turned up by the second holding means,
When forming a seam on the lower outer fabric and sewing the upper outer fabric from the lower outer fabric, move the final seam to a position away from the edge of the upper outer fabric, Since it is configured to form a seam on the outer fabric, it is possible to sew a zipper with overlapping upper and lower outer fabrics in one continuous stitch.
In addition to not requiring skilled techniques, the zipper can be sewn in a short time, sewing efficiency is improved, and the zipper can be sewn quickly and at low cost.

The first side is sewn, and before the end of the first side, the second holding means engages and holds the upper outer fabric in place of the first holding means, and the last seam of the first side is sewn on the upper side. It is formed on the lower outer fabric and the zipper at a position away from the edge of the outer fabric, and continues from this final needle drop point and intersects perpendicularly to the first side part so that the upper outer fabric, the zipper, and the lower outer fabric overlap. By forming a seam on the lower side of the seam, and further forming a seam on a second side parallel to the first side, the seam between the upper outer fabric and the zipper is formed. A zipper sewing machine characterized by sewing garments continuously.
