(Prior art) Generally, in this type of continuous casting equipment, a slab that is continuously cast from a tundish nozzle through a mold is sent onto a cutter table equipped with many rollers in parallel. A torch cutter (moving cart structure) cuts the slab while moving in synchronization with the slab from the start end to the end, and when one cutting is completed, the torch cutter returns to the start end on the cutter table. Then, when a certain amount of slabs were fed, the torch cutter moved again and cut the slabs, and the cutting operation was repeated, and the continuously cast slabs were successively cut into a certain length dimension. ing.

Dust-containing gas generated when slabs are cut using the cutter table in such continuous casting equipment needs to be collected and sucked to collect dust, as if left unattended, the factory building will be filled with smoke, worsening the working environment. It was hot. For this purpose, in the past, a dust collection hood was installed that covered the entire area of the cutter table, and the dust collection hood was connected to a wet dust collector through a duct, and the dust-containing gas generated when cutting the slab was transferred to the dust collection hood. The dust was collected and conducted through a duct to the wet type dust collector using the suction action of a blower to collect the dust.

Incidentally, dust-containing gas such as smoke generated when cutting a slab with the aforementioned torch cutter contains a considerable amount of moisture due to cooling water sprayed on the cutter table, and is sucked into the dust collection hood. For this reason, conventionally, wet type dust collectors have been used to avoid the influence of moisture. However, this wet type dust collector required a lot of equipment and had high construction and operating costs, making it uneconomical.

Therefore, recently, the use of dry dust collectors such as bag filters, which have low equipment and operating costs, has been considered. Moisture in the dust-containing gas condenses and wets the filter cloth of the bag, causing clogging, which causes excessive filtration pressure loss, and eventually makes it impossible to collect dust, forcing the operation to stop. There are many problems.

Currently being considered as countermeasures include methods to prevent condensation by cooling the moisture in the dust-containing gas that has been collected and smoked by insulating or heating the ducts and bug casings, and using demisters. There is a method in which the bag filter is installed in front of the bag filter to remove the moisture in the dust-containing gas that has been collected and smoked, and then the bag filter is made conductive. There are methods to reduce the relative humidity as a whole by mixing it with dust gas, methods to install two bag filters and switch operation to the other standby when the filtration pressure loss of one becomes excessive, and methods to use a cutter table between castings. One method is to stop the watering and run the dust collector dry to dry the bugs.

However, in the above-mentioned heat retention or heating method, it is necessary to provide a means for heat retention or heating of a long duct or a large bug casing, and there is a problem in that the equipment cost and expenses for this are high.
Next, in the water removal method using a demister, the demister itself is quite expensive, leading to high equipment costs, and the problem of high operating costs due to the pressure loss due to the installation of the demister and the need for a large suction air volume from the blower. be. In addition, in the method of lowering the relative humidity by sucking and mixing outside air, the overall smoke suction air volume increases, so a bag filter and a blower of large capacity are required, which raises the problem of higher equipment and operating costs. Furthermore, the method of installing two bug filters naturally has the problem of high equipment costs. Furthermore, in the method of stopping water sprinkling between castings and performing dry dust collection operation, the rollers of the cutter table remain hot even after casting is finished, and water sprinkling cannot be suddenly stopped, especially when the operation rate is high. In a continuous casting machine, the intervals between castings are short and the number of times thereof is small, and it is practically difficult to perform an empty dust collection operation with water sprinkling stopped.

The present invention was developed in view of the above circumstances, and in order to solve the conventional problems, the dust-containing gas generated when a slab continuously cast and sent onto a cutter table is cut by a torch cutter that moves in synchronization with the continuous casting slab. In a dust collector for a cutter table of a continuous casting facility, the dust is collected by a dust collection hood by the suction action of a blower, and is conducted to a dust collector via a duct for dust collection processing. In addition to providing a dry type dust collector, a dust collection damper is provided, which opens when cutting a slab with the torch cutter to allow smoke to be conducted from the dust collection hood to the dry type dust collector through a duct, and automatically closes when not cutting. Further, the duct communicating with the dry dust collector is provided with an outside air introduction mechanism with an outside air intake damper that automatically opens when the torch cutter is not cutting to allow outside air to be introduced into the dust collector, and automatically closes when cutting the slab. It is characterized by what it did.

With the above configuration, when cutting a slab while the torch cutter moves on the cutter table during continuous casting, the dust collection damper opens and the outside air intake damper of the outside air introduction mechanism closes. The dust-containing gas is collected in a dust collection hood by suction by a blower, and is conducted to a dry dust collector through a duct to collect dust, and the torch cutter automatically moves to the start end of the cutter table after finishing one slab cutting operation. During non-cutting, when the machine returns to normal operation and waits for the next cutting operation to start, the dust collection damper closes, and conversely, the outside air intake damper of the outside air introduction mechanism opens, and the dry dust collector is filled with low humidity by the blower suction. Outside air is introduced to dry the filter cloth of bugs in the dust collector, and when the torch cutter starts cutting the slab again, the dust collection damper opens and the outside air intake damper of the outside air introduction mechanism closes to remove dust. Perform gas dust collection,
Upon completion of the slab cutting work, the torch cutter returns to its self-propelled state. When not cutting, the dust collection damper closes again and the outside air intake damper opens, allowing outside air to be introduced to dry the filter cloth of bugs and other particles in the dry dust collector. Collecting the dust-containing gas and introducing outside air are repeatedly performed while being alternately switched according to the operation of the torch cutter. In this way, the filter cloth, which gets wet due to condensation of moisture in the dust-containing gas passed through the dry dust collector, can be immediately and repeatedly dried, thereby preventing excessive filtration pressure loss due to clogging.

The dust collection dampers 15a and 15b of the branch ducts 11a and 11b on the strand side are opened. Further, the position signal of the torch cutter 3 which is about to start moving from the starting end side of the cutter table 1 is sent to the control panel, and the torch cutter 3 is

Each dust collection damper 17 of No. 3 opens first, and in this state, the torch cutter 3 starts to run on its own and begins to cut the slab A while moving in synchronization with the slab A, and the dust-containing gas generated at that time is As shown in Figure 3, the lower side shower 22 of the cutter table 1
The smoke is intensively collected in the first and second left and right dust collection hoods 13 located in the dust generation range. As the torch cutter 3 moves while cutting the slab, that is, as the dust generation range changes,
Following this, the dust collection dampers 17 of each dust collection hood 13 are sequentially controlled to open and close, and the dust collection dampers 17 of the dust collection hoods 13 newly entering the dust generation range are opened one after another, and conversely, dust is generated. The dust collection damper 17 of the dust collection hood 13 that goes out of the range closes, and the dust collection hood 13 that is always located in the dust generation range collects dust-containing gas locally and efficiently. If the dust collection hood is located in a position other than that where no dust is generated, unnecessary smoke suction will not be performed.

In such a state, when the first strand is finished cutting one slab by the torch cutter 3 on the cutter table 1, the torch cutter 3 moves from the terminal end side on the cutter table 1 to the initial position on the starting end side. It returns and waits until the start of the next slab cutting, but during the return movement and the waiting non-cutting period, the total dust collection damper 1 on the first strand side
5a, 15b, and 17 are all closed and dust collection from the first strand side is stopped, and at the same time, the outside air intake damper 19b of the outside air introduction mechanism 19 on the first strand side is automatically opened, and the dust collection from the first strand side is automatically opened. Low humidity outside air is then sucked in by the blower. This outside air is conducted from the main duct 5 into the dry type dust collector 4, and the filter cloth such as the bag, which has been wetted by the previous collection of humid dust-containing gas, is dried.

Then, when the slab A is fed by a predetermined amount and the torch cutter 3 starts cutting the slab again,
The outside air intake damper 19b of the outside air introduction mechanism 19 is closed, stopping the outside air introduction, and the dust collection damper 1
5a and 15b are opened, and the dust collection damper 17 of each dust collection hood 13 is sequentially controlled to open and close in a manner that follows the fluctuation of the dust generation range caused by the movement of the torch cutter 3 while cutting the slab, as in the previous time.
The humid dust-containing gas generated by the slab cutting is collected and filtered by the dry dust collector 4, and when the torch cutter returns to its self-propelled state upon completion of the slab cutting operation, the dust collecting damper 15a,
15b and 17 are closed and the outside air intake damper 19b
is opened to dry the filter cloth of bugs and the like in the dry dust collector 4 by introducing outside air.

In this way, the collection of dust-containing gas and the introduction of outside air are repeated while being alternately switched according to the operation of the torch cutter 3, and the filter becomes wet due to the condensation of moisture in the dust-containing gas conducted to the dry dust collector 4. The cloth is immediately and repeatedly dried by introducing outside air,
This prevents excessive filtration pressure loss due to clogging.

In addition, when the slab cutting operation is started on the cutter table 2 for the second strand during the slab cutting operation on the cutter table 1 for the first strand, the cutting operation for both the first and second strands is performed. The air volume of the blower 8 is increased to ensure a sufficient amount of smoke suction air, and the dust collection dampers 16a and 16b on the second strand side are also opened in the same way as described above, and the dust generation range due to the movement of the torch cutter 3 while cutting the slab is reduced. The dust collection dampers 18 of each dust collection hood 14 are sequentially controlled to open and close in accordance with the fluctuations.
The humid dust-containing gas generated by cutting the slab is collected by filtration and collected by a dry dust collector 4. On the second strand side, when the torch cutter 3 returns to its self-propelled state upon completion of one slab cutting operation, the dust collection dampers 16a, 16b and 1
8 is closed, the outside air intake damper 20b of the outside air introduction mechanism 20 is opened, and the filter cloth such as bugs in the dry dust collector 4 is dried by introducing outside air.

is installed, and the collection of dust-containing gas and the introduction of outside air are repeatedly performed independently of each other. Also, one strand side may be in a state where a slab is being cut and humid dust-containing gas is being collected, while the other strand is not being cut into a slab and outside air is being introduced. The humid dust-containing gas coming from one side and the outside air coming from the other side are combined and mixed, and are conducted to the dry dust collector 4 in a state where the humidity is significantly reduced, so that an initial effect can be obtained.

Since the present invention is made as described above, during continuous casting, when cutting a slab while moving the torch cutter on the cutter table, the dust collection damper opens and the humid dust-containing gas is collected by blower suction, and the dry process is performed. The dust can be collected by a dust collector, and when the torch cutter is not cutting after finishing each slab cutting operation and returning to the starting end of the cutter table and waiting until the start of the next cutting operation, the above-mentioned dust collection is performed. When the damper is closed and the outside air intake damper of the outside air introduction mechanism is opened, low-humidity outside air can be introduced into the dry dust collector by blower suction, and the filter cloth such as bugs inside the dry dust collector can be dried. As described above, the collection of dust-containing gas and the drying of the filter cloth by introducing outside air can be performed repeatedly while being alternately switched in accordance with the operation of the torch cutter. Therefore, the filter cloth, which gets wet due to condensation of moisture in the dust-containing gas passed through the dry dust collector, can be immediately and repeatedly dried to prevent excessive filter cloth pressure loss due to clogging. It becomes possible to use a dry type dust collector such as a bag filter without any problems, and it is possible to achieve the effects of reducing the capacity of the device, reducing equipment costs, and reducing operating costs.
