[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Field of Application] The present invention relates to a reflection detection device that displays a received signal obtained by reflection detection using radar, sonar, etc. on a color display in PPI. [Prior Art] This type of device has a configuration that displays the PPI by color-coding the received signal strength based on the signal obtained by identifying the received signal of the radar according to its strength.
11911 and others. Further, a configuration for classifying and displaying detected targets by identifying the continuity of a radar reception signal is disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 40091/1983.

However, by simply combining both of these functions, it is difficult to tell which function state the current display screen is detecting by using a separate display that shows the position of the operating knob or the position of the control knob. The inconvenience of having to check each time is unavoidable.

The present invention provides a color-coded display based on the strength of received signals obtained by reflection detection such as radar or sonar, and a color-coded display based on the strength of the received signals. It is a reflection detection color display device that identifies and displays on a color display device, which displays the continuous gender in color according to the continuous gender signal obtained by the above-mentioned continuous gender identification, as well as a continuous gender color-coded display that displays the continuous gender in a color-coded manner. Continuity identification color means for displaying the gender color-coding display in a different color tone from the above-mentioned intensity color-coding display; switching for operating the above-mentioned intensity color-coding display and the continuous gender color-coding display in parallel; and the above-mentioned intensity color-coding display The above problem can be solved by providing a switching circuit having a switching circuit for operating the different color-coded display and the continuous color-coded display separately.

The received signal of the radar is a signal in a radial direction, and when it is input into a recording device and read out, it is read out in the direction perpendicular to the writing, that is, in the circumferential direction, and displayed on a spirally scanned display. In this example, the continuity of the signal in the radial direction before being written into the storage device and the continuity of the signal in the circumferential direction after being read from the storage device are distinguished.

The present invention allows the above-described means for color-coding and displaying received signals based on continuity identification and means for color-coding and color-displaying received signals according to intensity to operate in parallel, and also allows these to be operated separately. Continuity is identified when the received signal is at a certain intensity level or above, but when the intensity is below this level or below the set number of consecutive bits for continuity identification, It will be color coded according to intensity.

Then, by setting the color tone when the continuity is identified to be different from the color tone when the intensity is determined, the current display screen allows the intensity-based discrimination and the continuous gender discrimination to operate in parallel. whether it is operating only intensity-based discrimination or continuous gender discrimination.
This makes it easy to judge just by looking at the display screen.

The continuity identification circuit can be used in cases such as distinguishing between land and ships if it is identified in one stage, as illustrated in Figures 5 and 6, but if necessary, it can be identified in three stages as illustrated in Figure 4. Alternatively, the identification may be performed in more stages, and the number of consecutive bits may be determined as appropriate depending on the size of the object, the roughness of the screen, etc.

According to the present invention, as described above, the color-coded display based on intensity discrimination and the color-coded display based on continuity discrimination are displayed in different tones, and the color-coded display based on intensity and the display based on continuity discrimination are displayed in parallel. When activated, a composite color-coded display of these different tones is displayed, so you can judge just by looking at the color-coded state of the image displayed on the display screen, so it is not necessary to keep it dark at night.
