In other words, artificial reefs need to be able to maintain an environment that makes it easier for fish to gather and grow, and also to not have a negative impact on the activities of fishing vessels or the lifespan of fishing nets, and to save labor for fishermen. There is a strong desire for it to be able to perform its functions as well. However, no conventional artificial reef has been found that satisfies the above-mentioned functions.

Therefore, this is one of the reasons why the fishing net gets caught between the protruding parts (ends) of the artificial reef or between the reef forming members when fishing with sashimi nets, etc., resulting in damage to the fishing net and loss of fish. It has the disadvantage that it cannot be captured.

待できないという欠点がある。 Furthermore, as shown in, for example, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 47-41676 and Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 55-65974, artificial reefs have been proposed in which the shape of the outer periphery is improved to reduce uneven surfaces. However, the former type of artificial reef is manufactured using only iron wire, which is a type of metal material, so its own weight is limited. In addition, the sunken fish reef cannot be installed offshore or in the deep sea, as there is a risk that it may be moved or deformed due to the influence of tides and waves during typhoons and storms. The problem is that the range is limited. Furthermore, since the fish reef is constructed only with iron wire, during normal tidal currents (other than during typhoons and storms), upwelling currents and eddies due to the shielding effect of the tidal current can hardly be expected in the reef area, so for example, It has the disadvantage that it is difficult to attract surface-dwelling fish, and therefore, it is difficult to expect a good attracting effect.

If installed in a shallow place, there is a risk that the bottom of the fishing boat will collide with the protruding part of the central support.

A large number of steel guide/holding frame members 1 consisting of a vertical portion and an arc-shaped portion connected to the top of the vertical portion are arranged side by side to form a circle, and the inside of each guide/holding frame member 1 is arranged side by side to form a circle. A large number of annular steel circumferential frame members 2 that intersect with each other are arranged at intervals in the vertical direction and fixed to each guide/holding frame member 1 to constitute a steel birdcage-shaped net 3. A birdcage-like net 3 is provided so as to surround a part other than the bottom of the artificial reef main body 4, and a gap 9 is provided between the artificial reef main body 4 and the birdcage-like net 3 in the artificial reef made of steel.

Further, the upper portions of some of the guide/holding frame members 1 facing in the diameter direction of the circle are continuously arched, and each guide/holding frame member 1 and each circumferential frame member 2 are used for passage of fish. A mesh is formed. As the steel material constituting the guide/holding frame member 1 and the circumferential frame member 2, for example, a steel pipe or a steel rod having a circular cross section is used.

The plate-shaped steel material 9 causes a shielding effect on the tidal current passing through the steel artificial reef body 4, that is, changes in flow direction, flow velocity, and other physical change phenomena. It can also improve the effect of attracting fish. Note that most of the members constituting the artificial reef body 4 are steel pipes and shaped steel.

The fishing net can be easily stretched in a predetermined position without getting caught, and the fishing net is smoothly guided along the outer surface of the guide/holding frame member 1, making it easy to set up and hoist the fishing net. It can significantly save labor,
Furthermore, since the birdcage-shaped net 3 is placed over the artificial reef body 4, the horizontal projected area, etc. becomes larger, and the gap 10 between the birdcage-shaped net 3 and the artificial reef body 4 also has a reef effect, and the orientation It is possible to collect fish species that take action (horse mackerel, mackerel, yellowtail, etc.), and therefore the effect of collecting fish can be improved. Furthermore, since the artificial reef main body 4 is equipped with a plate-shaped steel material 9, the plate-shaped steel material 9 produces a shielding effect on the tidal current passing through the artificial fish reef main body 4, that is, a change in the flow direction, a change in the flow velocity, etc. It is possible to improve the attracting effect not only for benthic fish but also for surface-dwelling fish.
