Conventionally, when a person with hearing loss listens to a telephone call through a hearing aid, an induction coil built into the hearing aid picks up the leakage magnetic flux of the received signal and listens to it.
There are various types of hearing aids. Box-type hearing aids mainly pick up received signal leakage magnetic flux from a transformer included in the bridge circuit inside the phone, while behind-the-ear hearing aids pick up magnetic flux that is built into the handset. This method was based on methods such as picking up leakage magnetic flux from electromagnetic handsets.

However, in recent years, as the overall improvement of telephones has progressed, the leakage of received signal magnetic flux to the outside of the telephone has tended to decrease. As a result, in any of the above cases, there is not enough leakage magnetic flux, so With some hearing aids, it has become difficult to hear telephone calls with a satisfactory signal-to-noise ratio.

As a countermeasure to the above, it is possible to increase the detection sensitivity of the induction coil built into the hearing aid on the hearing aid side.

However, the intensity of leakage magnetic flux from the handset of a telephone set is about 3 mAT/m under average usage conditions, and varies greatly depending on the loss of the telephone line, the difference in the transmission level, etc. On the other hand, the noise level of the induced magnetic field indoors increases with the spread of household electrical appliances, and is 1 to 3 mAT/m in a typical household.
Furthermore, in the case of proximity to lit fluorescent lamps, the induced magnetic field noise level increases even further than the above values.

For this reason, simply increasing the sensitivity of the induction coil of a hearing aid will amplify not only the leakage magnetic flux of the received signal from the desired handset, but also the induced magnetic field noise from other devices, so there is no effective solution. It didn't happen.

In addition, especially for behind-the-ear hearing aids, the induction coil coexists with the earphone in the main body, so if the earphone is electromagnetic, oscillation occurs due to magnetic coupling between the earphone and the induction coil, causing the hearing aid to oscillate. There was a limit to increasing the sensitivity of the induction coil, as the induction coil would no longer function.

Furthermore, although electromagnetic receivers are currently being used as telephone receivers, it is expected that other receivers that do not rely on electromagnetic action (for example, piezoelectric receivers) will be adopted in the future. In this case, there is a risk that there will be no leakage magnetic flux from the handset and the induction coil will become useless.

Based on the above, unless some kind of countermeasure is taken regarding telephones to actively strengthen the magnetic flux generated by telephones, it will be impossible for people with hearing loss to listen to telephone calls using hearing aids, which is a serious problem. be.

FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 show one embodiment of the present invention, and show the receiving terminals R 1 and R 2 of the telephone main body 1, and the transmitting terminal.
A handset 3 built into the handset 2 at T 1 and T 2
A transmitter 4 having a voice coil and a voice coil are connected to each other. L 1 and L 2 are line terminals. The present invention differs from a conventional telephone set in that a receiving signal magnetic field generating coil 5 connected in parallel to the input of the handset 3 is wound around the outer periphery of the main body of the handset 3. It will be connected in parallel to the coil.

With the above configuration, normal voice is emitted from the handset 3, and the coil 5 for generating a magnetic field for the reception signal
Since a magnetic field and magnetic flux corresponding to the received voice are generated, it is possible to easily listen to a telephone call using the induction coil of a hearing aid without impairing the normal telephone function.

Note that parallel connection to the input is used for both electromagnetic handsets with a voice coil and piezoelectric handsets, but if connected in series, the received voice itself will be a low sound and the telephone This was done in consideration of the fact that the original function would be impaired and that the magnetic field corresponding to the received voice generated from the received voice signal magnetic field generation coil would also be weakened.

FIG. 3 shows another embodiment of the present invention, in which an amplifier is connected in parallel to the input of the receiver, and the amplifier 6 is wrapped around the receiver terminals R 1 and R 2 of the telephone body 1 and the outer periphery of the receiver 3. Receiving signal magnetic field generation coil 5
The coil 5 is connected to and attached between the receiving signal magnetic field and drives the receiving signal magnetic field generating coil 5, and has the effect of further increasing the receiving signal magnetic field. A power supply 7 is connected to the telephone main body 1 and serves as a power supply for the amplifier 6. It is also conceivable to house one or both of the amplifier 6 and the power source 7 within the handset 2.

In the embodiment with the above configuration, a receiving signal magnetic field of 500 mAT/m or more can be obtained without reducing the audio level at all. Therefore, it is particularly effective when the loss in the telephone line is large, and especially for people with severe hearing loss.

As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to use the telephone in many households without impairing the original functions of the telephone.
By applying the received signal magnetic field to the induction coil built into the hearing aid with a sufficient signal-to-noise ratio against the induced magnetic field noise, which is thought to be on the order of mAT/m, it is possible to listen to telephone calls well using the hearing aid.
The effect is great.
