Therefore, under the vehicle floor, where there is only limited space,
There are strict restrictions on the height dimension of oil cooling heat exchangers, making it difficult to install and arrange them.

It was placed on a support beam 6 suspended horizontally from a transformer 5 placed under the floor. Therefore, the downward dimension of the heat exchange core 1 is large, and when there is a demand for a larger cooling capacity, various dimensional problems have arisen, such as an increase in the size of the main body and a mounting method. In addition, 7 in the drawing is an air duct.

に際しての圧力損失が大きく実用的でない。 Further, in conventional oil-cooled heat exchangers, header tanks were provided on the entire upper and lower surfaces of the heat exchange core, which caused problems in terms of weight as well, since the amount of oil contained therein was large. It is also conceivable to reduce the size of the header tank and provide a distributor fin within the heat exchange core, but this is impractical due to the large pressure loss when the cooling oil passes through it.

In the container, a spacer bar is placed at the upper and lower ends between the tube plates in the air passage, and the spacer bar has a passage structure that is completely opened in the stacking direction, and the tube plate has an oil passage hole that communicates with the oil passage on the surface that contacts and faces the spacer bar. This is a heat exchanger for cooling oil, characterized in that at least one header tank is disposed in series with only the opening provided on the outward surface of the spacer bar.

する油冷却用熱交換器である。 More specifically, this invention consists of stacking tube plates and fins, and alternately arranging oil passages that flow down vertically and air passages that pass horizontally, and between the plates of the air passages. The spacer bars held at the upper and lower ends are made into passages that are fully open in the stacking direction, and oil passage holes are also provided in the relevant portion of the tube plate that comes into contact with the spacer bars, and oil passage holes are provided in the small openings provided on the outward end faces of the spacer bars. The header tank is connected, and the cooling oil is introduced into the oil passage through a spacer bar in the air passage, and the cooling oil flows out.The header tank is simply introduced and functions as an outflow passage, making the header tank smaller and lowering the height of the heat exchanger. This oil cooling heat exchanger is characterized by being lightweight by reducing the amount of cooling oil built into it.

By lowering the height of the heat exchanger and reducing the amount of oil built into it, weight reduction can be achieved.

It has the advantage that it can be easily installed within the limited dimensions under the floor of a vehicle, or it can be directly installed on the transformer using a mounting angle member or the like.
