Conventionally, in a camera with a built-in flash, for example, the built-in flash is driven by a motor controlled by a control circuit of the camera body, so that the light-emitting part of the built-in flash can be moved from a storage position in the upper cover of the camera body to the upper part of the camera body. In order to move the motor to a light emitting position exposed from the cover, or to change the irradiation angle by changing the distance between the light emitting tube of the light emitting unit and the flash panel located in front of it, the motor is controlled by the control circuit. In addition, a circuit for detecting the position of the light emitting section was required, and this circuit also needed to be connected to the control circuit. On the other hand, if the built-in flash does not provide sufficient light during photography, and if an external flash, for example, is attached to the accessory shoe and the external flash is fired to take a picture, the accessory shoe and the control circuit needed to be connected. By the way, there are multiple connection terminals for the control circuit of the light emitting unit position detection circuit, the motor, and the accessory shoe, respectively, and the connection structure of the built-in flash of the conventional camera, the motor for driving the flash light emitting unit, and the accessory shoe is difficult to connect. If so, for example, each connection terminal of the light emitting part position detection circuit, each connection terminal of the motor, and each connection terminal of the accessory cable may be connected to the connection terminal of the control circuit via lead wires. Therefore, the light emitting unit position detection circuit, the motor, and the accessory switch were connected to the control circuit, respectively.

However, in the connection structure of the built-in flash of the above-mentioned camera, the motor for driving the flash light emitting unit, and the accessory connector, a large number of the above-mentioned lead wires are used. Both ends of each lead wire must be connected by soldering to either the connection terminal of the light emitting part position detection circuit, the connection terminal of the motor, the connection terminal of the accessory shoe, or the connection terminal of the control circuit. The installation work was always complicated. That is, due to the large number of parts, there were problems of poor incorporation and poor reliability. In order to solve such problems, it is conceivable to use a flexible substrate instead of the plurality of lead wires. An electrical connection structure that has been conventionally adopted inside a camera based on a similar idea is, for example, the connection terminal of the accessory shoe and the contact of the synchro terminal that are connected to each other via a single flexible board. Some are designed to be connected to a circuit. However, in the above configuration, while the connection terminal of the accessory shoe is located at the upper end of the camera and approximately in the center along the left-right direction, the contact point of the synchro terminal is located at the end of the film rewind side of the camera. However, there is a problem in that the flexible substrate is large and extends from near the center of the upper end of the camera to the side edges of the camera, increasing production costs. Another connection structure is such that the connection terminal of the accessory shoe and the connection terminals of a plurality of operation switches such as a shutter switch and a shutter speed changeover switch are respectively connected to the control circuit via one flexible board. There are some that have been. In such a configuration, if the connection terminals of the plurality of operation switches are located at various positions within the camera, there is a problem that the flexible board becomes large and the production cost increases. The present invention has been devised in view of the above problems and to effectively solve them. Therefore, its purpose is
In order to reduce the number of parts compared to conventional connection structures that use multiple lead wires, we have developed a circuit that detects the position of the built-in flash's light emitting part via a single flexible board, a motor that drives the light emitting part, and an accessory shoe. The built-in flash of the camera, the motor for driving the flash light emitting unit, and the accessory shoe are connected to the control circuit of the camera body, and the flexible board is more compact than the conventional connection structure using a flexible board. The purpose is to provide a connection structure.

According to the connection structure of the built-in flash of the camera, the motor for assembling the flash light emitting unit, and the accessory shoe according to the present invention, the light emitting unit position detection circuit, the motor, and the accessory shoe are connected to the control circuit, respectively. However, since the connection is made via the single flexible substrate, the number of parts is reduced compared to the conventional connection structure in which the connection is made via a plurality of lead wires. Therefore, when it is assembled into the camera, it is only necessary to incorporate the one flexible substrate into the camera, which improves the ease of assembly, improves reliability, and lowers the production cost of the camera. Further, according to the connection structure of the built-in flash of the camera, the motor for assembling the flash light emitting part, and the accessory shoe according to the present invention, the light emitting part position detection circuit, the motor, and the accessory shoe are connected to each other via the flexible board. and can be connected to the control circuit, respectively, and since the flexible board is arranged above the pentaprism and inside the upper cover, compared to the connection structure using a conventional flexible board, The flexible substrate can be made more compact and production costs can be lowered. Furthermore, in the camera having the connection structure according to the present invention, the accessory shoe is disposed above the pentaprism of the upper cover, so that the second connection terminal connected to the terminal of the pentaprism can be connected to the second connection terminal connected to the terminal of the pentaprism. It can be placed above the pentaprism. Therefore, in the connection structure according to the present invention, the first connection terminal and the third
When the connecting terminal and the fourth connecting terminal are arranged above the pentaprism, the first connecting terminal, the third connecting terminal, and the fourth connecting terminal are placed above the pentaprism together with the second connecting terminal. The flexible substrates can be arranged close to each other above the flexible substrates, and the flexible substrate can be made more compact and the production cost can be lowered. Further, in a camera incorporating the connection structure according to the present invention, the built-in flash is provided within the upper cover. Therefore, in the connection structure according to the present invention, when the flexible board is attached to the upper cover, the built-in flash and the flexible board are installed in the upper cover, and the upper cover Before attaching the camera to the camera body, it is possible to check the operating state of the light emitting part position detection circuit and the connection state of the terminal of the accessory shoe to the second connection terminal. Therefore, if the operating state of the light emitting part position detection circuit and the connection state of the terminal of the accessory connector to the second connection terminal are poor, the built-in flash and the flexible board can be re-installed into the upper cover. . Further, when the upper cover is subsequently attached to the camera body, the fourth connection terminal and the connection terminal of the control circuit are connected, instead of connecting the plurality of terminals to each other via the plurality of lead wires. Therefore, the ease of incorporation of the connection structure according to the present invention into the camera is improved. In addition, in the camera having the connection structure according to the present invention, a space between the eyepiece optical system and the upper cover is provided above the eyepiece optical system arranged behind the pentaprism and inside the camera body. There may be empty space. In such a case, in the connection structure according to the present invention, if the connection terminal of the control circuit and the fourth connection terminal are connected to each other within the space, the space can be used effectively. Further, according to the connection structure of the built-in flash of the camera, the motor for assembling the flash light emitting part, and the accessory shoe according to the present invention, the pentaprism is a hollow body,
When a pedestal portion extending above the eyepiece optical system is integrally provided on the protection plate of the pentaprism, the connection terminal of the control circuit and the fourth connection terminal may be connected to each other on the safe portion. Therefore, it is possible to make effective use of the space, and at the same time, when making the connection, the eyepiece optical system is not affected by external horns or heat, etc., which are exerted on the connection terminal of the control circuit and the fourth connection terminal. I have nothing to give.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Below, a connection structure of a built-in flash of a camera, a motor for assembling a flash light emitting unit, and an accessory shoe according to the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 4. FIG. 1 is a longitudinal cross-sectional view of a main part of a camera having a built-in flash, a motor for assembling a flash light emitting unit, and a connection structure for an accessory shoe according to an embodiment of the present invention. First, regarding this camera, a schematic configuration of the parts related to the connection structure according to this embodiment will be described. The camera includes a camera body that holds various parts such as a pentaprism 12, and a top surface of the camera body, that is, a first
It is comprised of an upper cover l that covers the upper side in the figure and also covers the front of the camera, that is, a part of the left side in FIG. 1, and the back of the camera, that is, a part of the right side in FIG. The camera body herein also includes a front cover (not shown) that covers the front surface of the camera other than the part covered by the upper cover 1 and holds a photographic lens (not shown) and the like. In addition, at the upper end of the camera-facing side of the upper cover 1 at the center in the left-right direction of the camera, that is, in the direction perpendicular to the plane of the paper in FIG. A flash panel 3 for irradiating light onto a subject is incorporated. A hollow synthetic resin pentaprism 12 is disposed at the center along the left-right direction of the camera and at the upper end of the camera body. An eyepiece optical system 18 is arranged within the camera body. In addition to the eyepiece lens, the eyepiece optical system 18 also includes a photometric element for determining exposure. A portion of a first flexible substrate 17 having a control circuit for the camera is disposed above the pentaprism 12 within the camera body. Therefore, between the pentagonal prism 12 and the first flexible substrate 17, the first flexible substrate 17 contacts the pentagonal prism 12 to prevent external force from being applied to the pentagonal prism 12. A protection plate I6 is arranged to protect 12. This prevents distortion of the image when the subject is viewed through the eyepiece of the eyepiece optical system 18 due to external force being applied to the pentaprism 12. Further, above the pentagonal prism 12 and inside the upper cover 1, there is a built-in flange consisting of a light emitting section 24 and a light emitting section holding member 7 that holds the light emitting section 24 and is elongated along the front and back direction of the camera. :LA is arranged so that the light emitting section 24 faces the back side of the flash panel 3. The light emitting section 24 includes a xenon tube 4 and a reflector 5 having a roughly bowl-shaped vertical section. Further, the light emitting section holding member 7 includes a box-shaped accommodating section 7a that accommodates the light emitting section 24.
and a connecting portion 7b connected to a drive mechanism for the built-in flash. In addition, the built-in flash A
As shown in FIG. 3, these are shoulder portions Ib and lb on both left and right sides of the center portion of the upper cover 1 that are slightly lower than the center portion along the left-right direction of the camera when viewed from the back side of the camera. Motor 13 attached below left shoulder ib
The upper cover i is held within the upper cover i so as to be driven along the front-rear direction of the camera. Further, a guide member for moving the built-in flash 8 along the front-rear direction of the power camera is provided on the upper cover 1 and a plywood board (not shown). Further, the built-in flash A is positionally controlled by the control circuit so as to be held at three positions along the front and back direction of the camera in order to change the distance between the light emitting section 24 and the flash panel 3. On the other hand, a Fresnel lens 3a is formed on the back side of the flash panel 3, and corresponding to the three positions of the built-in flash A, the light emitting parts 24 are arranged in order from the one closest to the flash panel 3: wide-angle, wide-angle, The irradiation angle of light from the light emitting section 24 can be switched between standard and telephoto. As shown in FIGS. 2, 3, and 4, the motor I
A first worm II is attached to the output shaft tab of No. 3, and the first worm II is engaged with the wheel lO. A spring is provided in the truncated cone-shaped connecting portion 10a of the wheel IO, and the second worm 9 is frictionally connected to the connecting portion 10a via the spring. Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 4, this second worm 9 has the above-mentioned upper cover rotatable about rotation H18c by means of a pin 20. A wheel portion 8a provided at one end of a rotating lever 8 mounted inside is engaged with the wheel portion 8a. Further, a connecting protrusion 8b is provided on the upper surface of the other end of the rotating lever 8.
is formed, and the connecting protrusion 8b is inserted into the connecting hole 7d formed at the end of the connecting part 7b of the light emitting unit holding member 7 on the back side of the camera, and the rotating lever 8 and the light emitting unit holding member 7 are connected to each other. The connecting portions 7b of the members 7 are connected to each other. The type of connection between these two is, for example, the above-mentioned one such that when the rotation lever 8 rotates around the rotation axis 8c, the light emitting section holding member 7 moves along the front and back direction of the camera body. The connecting protrusion 8b is formed into a generally cylindrical shape to form a universal joint type. As a result, one movement of the motor 13 causes the rotating lever 8 to rotate around the rotating shaft 8c, thereby driving the built-in flash A in the front-rear direction of the camera. At this time, since the first worm 11 is engaged with the wheel 10 and the second worm 9 is engaged with the wheel portion 8a of the rotary lever 8, the rotation of the motor 13 is decelerated and rotated. The signal is transmitted to the moving lever 8. Further, since the wheel 10 and the worm 9 are frictionally connected, the two worms 9.1! It is possible to effectively prevent damage to the gear teeth of the wheel IO and the wheel portion 8a of the rotary lever 8 and damage to the motor 13. Furthermore, the connecting hole 7d of the light emitting section holding member 7 is connected to the upper cover! The motor I3, the wheel 10, and the two worms 9 are located approximately below the accessory shoe 22 in the center along the left-right direction of the camera.
.. 11 is disposed below the shoulder portion 1b of the upper cover 1, that is, diagonally below and to the left of the connection hole 7d when viewed from the back side of the camera. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 3, the end of the rotating lever 8 connected to the connecting part 7b of the light emitting unit holding member 7 is placed horizontally, while the remaining part is placed horizontally. By bending diagonally downward to the left when viewed from the back side, the left and right portions 1a and la of the built-in flash A of the upper cover 1 are inserted into the camera from the center portion of the upper cover 1 along the left and right direction of the camera. The structure can be made such that the pentaprism 12 of the camera is tilted obliquely downward and to the left when viewed from the rear side, thereby preventing the peripheral portion of the pentaprism 12 of the camera from becoming large. Further, the lead wire 15 connected to the xenon tube 4 of the light emitting unit 24 of the built-in flash A is connected to the right side 1a of the built-in flash A of the upper cover 1 when viewed from the back side of the camera.
It is held between a pair of protrusions 14.14 formed on the inner surface of the lower end of the upper cover 1, and is movably held between the pair of protrusions 14.14 along the slope of the side 1a of the upper cover 1. ing. Thereby, it is possible to prevent wire breakage due to tension, deformation, etc. of the lead wire 15 due to movement of the light emitting section 24. Further, the rear part of the upper surface of the upper cover 1, that is, the eyepiece optical system 18 and the pentaprism 1 adjacent thereto,
For example, an external accessory such as a flash is attached to the upper part of a part of 2, and four terminals 19, 19 are attached.
, 19. Attached is an accessory shoe 22 connected to the control circuit by means of 19. Next, the connection structure of the built-in flash of the camera, the motor for driving the flash light emitting unit, and the accessory shoe of the camera according to this embodiment will be explained. In the camera, in order to drive the built-in flash A by the motor 13, it is necessary to connect the motor i3 to the control circuit, and also to install a circuit for detecting the position of the light emitting section 24 of the built-in flash A. , and it is necessary to connect the circuit to the control circuit. On the other hand, the above-mentioned external accessories are used to input and output signals to and from the flash.1. It is also necessary to connect terminals 19.19 and 19.19 of -22 to the control circuit. Therefore, in the connection structure according to this embodiment, the flexible board according to this embodiment is attached to a part of the upper cover! The light emitting unit position detection circuit, the motor 13, and the accessory shoe 22 are connected to the control circuit through two second flexible substrates 6, respectively. The second flexible substrate 6 is roughly "C" shaped in plan and is gently bent in two at the center. Attached to the side. A generally rectangular bent portion is formed at the upper end of the second flexible substrate 6 and is bent one step higher than the other portions, and the bent portion is connected to the first light emitting portion position detection circuit. Four patterned contacts 6 as connection terminals
a, 6b, 6c, and 6h are formed. Among these four contacts, three short, generally square contacts 6 a, 6 b, and 6 c are arranged at a predetermined distance from each other along the front-rear direction of the camera, and
along the front and back direction of the camera and the three contact points 6 a;
One long, generally rectangular contact point 6h is arranged near 6b and 6c. On the other hand, a pair of sliding parts 23a, 23 are provided on the upper surface of the connecting part 7b of the light emitting part holding member 7.
For example, the sliding piece 23 having a diameter of 1.a press-fits two protrusions 7c, 7c formed on the upper surface of the connecting part 7b of the light emitting part holding member 7 into the two holes 23b, 23b of the sliding piece 23, respectively. It is fixed by this. The built-in flash A is driven by the motor 13 so that the light emitting section 24 is positioned at the farthest telephoto position with respect to the flash panel 3, and the light emitting section 24 is positioned at the farthest telephoto position with respect to the flash panel 3 along the front and back direction of the camera. When moving between the first sliding section 2 and the nearest wide-angle position, one first sliding section 2 of the sliding section 23
3a always slides and contacts on the rectangular contact 6h, and the other second sliding portion 23a of the sliding section 23 slides on the three square contacts 6a, 6b, 6c. It slides along the front and back direction of the camera. When the light emitting part 24 of the built-in flash A is in the telephoto position, the wide-angle position, or the standard position intermediate therebetween, the second sliding part 23a is located at the one of the three square contact points. It comes into contact with the rearmost contact 6c of the camera, the frontmost contact 6a of the camera, and the contact 6b between them. The first sliding part 23a contacts the rectangular contact 6h, and the second sliding part 2
3a is the above three square contact points 6a, 6b, 6
By touching any one of c, the light emitting section position detection circuit is closed, and the position of the light emitting section 24 is detected by the control circuit. Thereby, in response to zooming or replacement of the photographic lens, the motor 13 can be rotated forward or reverse, and the irradiation angle of the flashlight can be switched in accordance with the focal length of the photographic lens. Further, near the bent portion of the upper end of the second flexible board 6, there are four terminals 1 of the accessory unit 22.
Four connection holes 6d, 6d as the second connection terminals connected to 9.19, 19.19. 6d and 6d are formed. On the other hand, the signal pins 19°19.1 serve as the four terminals of the accessory shoe 22.
9.19 are four holes 1d, 1d, 1 formed in the accessory shoe mounting portion of the upper cover 1, respectively.
The accessory shoe attachments d and ld are fixed to the cover 1 by, for example, being press-fitted so as to penetrate through the parts in the thickness direction. In addition, the tips of these four signal bins 19, 19° 19.19 are respectively connected to the second

6d, and each signal bin 19 is fixed to the second flexible substrate 6, for example by soldering. As a result, each of the signal bins 19 is connected to each of the connection holes 6.
d, and the second flexible substrate 6 is attached to the upper cover 1. Further, in a portion of the second flexible substrate 6 adjacent to the right side of the portion where the four connection holes 6d, 6d, 6d, and 6d are formed when viewed from the back side of the camera, two of the motors 13 are located. Two third #1i connection terminals 6f connected to the terminals 13a and 13a to supply power to the motor 13
, 6 r are installed in parallel. These two terminals 6
r, 6f are connected to two terminals 13a, 13a of the motor [3] via lead wires 21, 21, respectively. Thereby, the motor 13 can be connected to a power source via the control circuit. On the other hand, the rectangular portion 6j at the lower end of the second flexible substrate 6 has the four connection holes 6d, 6d, 6d. 6d is arranged at the lower left side when viewed from the back side of the camera, and the rectangular portion 6j at the lower end is connected to the connection terminal 17b of the control circuit on the first flexible substrate 17 having the control circuit. The fourth connection terminal 6e is formed. Further, although not specifically shown in the drawings, the second flexible substrate 6 includes four contacts 6 a, 6 b, 6 c, and 6 h constituting the first connection terminal, and the second
A circuit is formed that connects each of the connection holes 6d, 6d, 6d, 6d constituting the connection terminal and the third connection terminal 6f, 6r to the fourth connection terminal 6e. Further, at the center of the protection plate 16, extending rearward and diagonally upward, there is a connection between the fourth connection terminal 6e on the second flexible board 6 and the control circuit on the first flexible board 17. A pedestal portion 16a serving as a pedestal for connecting the terminals 17b to each other is integrally formed. The pedestal portion 16a is disposed above the eyepiece optical system 18 and within an empty space of the camera formed between the eyepiece optical system I8 and the upper cover 1. Furthermore, positioning protrusions 16b, 16b are formed at both ends of the pedestal portion 16a along the left-right direction of the camera. On the other hand, the first flexible substrate I7 has connection terminals for the control circuit extending rearward and upward from the portion placed in the center of the protection plate 16! An extending portion 17a having 7b is integrally formed. The positioning protrusion 16b of the pedestal part 16a of the protection plate 6 is inserted into the positioning holes +7c and 17c formed at both ends of the extending part 17a in the left-right direction of the camera. By inserting the first flexible substrate 16b, the extending portion 17a of the first flexible substrate 17 is positioned with respect to the pedestal portion 16a. Further, positioning holes 6g, 6g are also formed at both ends along the left-right direction of the camera of the rectangular portion 6j on the second flexible substrate 6 having the fourth connection terminal 6e. Therefore, by inserting the positioning protrusions +6b, +6b of the pedestal part 16a of the protection plate 16 into these positioning holes 6g, 6g, the pedestal part! 6a, the rectangular portion 6j having the fourth connection terminal 6e on the second flexible board 6 is positioned, and the first flexible board 1
The connection terminal 17b of the control circuit No. 7 and the fourth connection terminal 6e
and be positioned relative to each other. This makes it possible to electrically connect the fourth connection terminal 6e and the connection terminal 17b of the control circuit, for example, by soldering. Further, as shown in FIG. 1, the pedestal portion 1 of the protection plate 16
6a is raised by a predetermined angle of 0 with respect to the horizontal in consideration of the fact that the pedestal part 16a is deflected downward due to an external force applied to the pedestal part 16a1 during soldering work. , Therefore, the eyepiece optical system is located below the pedestal portion 16a during the soldering work! 8 is not affected by external force or heat. According to the connection structure of the built-in flash of the camera, the motor for assembling the flash light emitting unit, and the accessory shoe according to this embodiment, the first connection terminal is connected to the light emitting unit position detection circuit by the second flexible board 6. The four contacts 6a, 6b, 6c, 6h that constitute the above and the four signal bins of the accessory switch 22 9.
Four connection holes 6 d, 6 d, 6 d forming the second connection terminal connected to 9.19. 6d, and two third connection terminals 6f, 6f connected to the two terminals 13a, j3a of the motor I3,
The light emitting part position detection circuit, the motor 13, and the accessory shoe 22 are connected to the fourth connection terminal 6e, which is connected to the connection terminal of the control circuit, respectively.
