The fluorescent lamp socket of this invention consists of a socket body, a pair of left and right contacts attached to the socket body, and a plug holder that is attached to the socket body so as to be rotatable and movable back and forth while being pressed forward. The lamp pin through-hole formed in this plug holder is engaged with the plug holder in a state where the lamp pin through hole is displaced from the pair of contacts, and the plug holder is held at its front end position. A rotation stopper is provided on the socket body to restrict rotation, and a rotation stopper is provided on the socket body to release the stopper from the rotation stopper by pushing the stopper into the stopper. a rotation permitting portion for allowing the lamp pin through hole to rotate to a position corresponding to the pair of contacts; and a rotation permitting portion provided in the socket body to allow the lamp pin through hole to rotate to a position corresponding to the pair of contacts. and a movement restricting portion that restricts movement of the stopper receptacle toward the rear side in the closed state.

This configuration has the following effects. That is, when attaching a lamp to a socket, first, for one lamp pin, when the lamp pin is inserted into the lamp pin insertion hole of the plug holder, the lamp pin insertion hole and the pair of contacts are connected to each other as described above. Since the receiver is misaligned in the rotating direction, the lamp pin and the contact have not yet come into contact with each other. In this state, the plug holder is locked to the rotation stopper part of the socket body, so that the lamp is prevented from rotating unexpectedly and the lamp pin comes into contact with the contact.

In this way, with one lamp pin inserted into the lamp pin insertion hole and the plug holder pushed into the socket body, the other lamp pin is similarly attached to the other socket body. In other words, when the lamp pin is inserted into the lamp pin insertion hole of the plug holder in the same manner as the one lamp pin described above, the lamp pin insertion hole and the pair of contacts are misaligned in the rotational direction of the plug holder. , contact between the lamp pin and the contact has not yet been made.

That is, both lamp pins are not in contact with the contactor. In other words, only after both the lamp pins at both ends are attached to the socket body, both plug holders are aligned with the rotation permitting part and rotation is possible, and the lamp pin is in a state where it can come into contact with the contact. .

Therefore, even if one of the lamp pins comes into contact with a conductive member such as the socket cover, there is no risk of electric shock or ground fault when both lamp pins are not yet attached to the socket body.

Furthermore, when the lamp pin inserted into the lamp pin insertion hole of the plug holder is in contact with the pair of contacts, the movement restriction section restricts the movement of the plug holder toward the rear side, so that the operation is difficult. Even if a person tries to push or pull the lamp by mistake in an attempt to remove it, the lamp holder cannot be pushed or pulled because the movement of the stopper holder is restricted. This not only alerts workers to operational errors, but also prevents the lamp from coming off easily and causing accidents such as electric shock or ground faults due to the lamp pin coming into contact with the socket cover, unlike conventional lamps. This will ensure that such things are prevented.

Due to the above synergy, the lamp can be attached and detached extremely safely.

Therefore, both stopper receivers 10, 10 are in a state where they are allowed to rotate, and the lamp 3 can be rotated in this state. At this time, the plug holders 10, 10 into which the lamp pins 4, 4 are inserted also rotate, and due to the approximately 90 degree rotation, the lamp pins 4, 4... are moved against the pair of contacts 9, 9... is pushed outward against its springiness. Due to the reaction force, the contacts 9, 9 come into strong contact with the lamp pins 4, 4, . . . (see FIG. 2B and FIGS. 4C and D).

Therefore, when both lamp pins 4, 4... are not yet attached to the socket bodies A, A,
Even if one of the lamp pins 4, 4 comes into contact with a conductive member such as a socket cover, there is no risk of electric shock or ground fault. That is, lamp 3
This makes it extremely safe to install. The configuration for this purpose is not so complicated as compared to the conventional example, and can be implemented at low cost.

In particular, when the plug holder 10 rotates from the state shown in FIG. 2A to the state shown in FIG. Since the notches 13', 13' coincide with the wide guides 15, 15 of the socket body 6, which are located deeper than the gap 16, the stopper holder 10 cannot move further to the rear. In other words, even if an attempt is made to remove the lamp 3 by pushing or pulling, this is prevented.

According to this invention, in order to reliably prevent the lamp from coming off with a simple operation of pushing and pulling the lamp, in other words, the connection between the lamp pin and the contactor is released and the lamp is placed in a safe state. It is only when the lamp is removed that the lamp is allowed to be removed. Conversely, when the lamp is only inserted into the socket by pushing and pulling, the lamp pin is not yet connected to the contact, so it is difficult to remove the lamp. Accidents such as electric shocks and ground faults can be reliably prevented, and safety in attaching and detaching operations can be significantly improved.
